I'm guessing Tam didn't promise to move to CalTech and Sheldon just assumed that he would because he's his best friend. Sheldon didn't listen to what Tam was saying the last time they talked in Texas so Sheldon didn't know Tam wasn't going to move to CalTech with him.
I don't understand why #9 is important. Sheldon had mentioned multiple times on The Big Bang Theory that he was eventually going to write his memoir. Why is that surprising
Mee Maw's change in personality could be a result of her losing her home, job, son-in-law, and maybe even her freedom.
I assumed those professors just stayed at East Texas Tech until they retired, then enjoyed retirement until they died. I assume Sheldon did not keep in touch with them.
Why did you expect to learn more about the other 6 main Big Bang characters This show isn't about them. Just be glad we saw them once when they were kids, heard a few of their adult voices a few times on the show, and saw Amy in the finale.
Missy becomes a Dumb teenager and a failed adult. That's all we need to know.
Sheldon and Georgie probably lost touch when Sheldon went to CalTech. Then, Sheldon only remembered the bad stuff that Georgie did. That's how it is. When you bully someone and do some good things for someone, they will only remember the times you bullied them. And that's how it should be. So don't bully.

I have heard that initially, the writers proposed the concept of Paige passing away at a young age. This event caused Sheldon to experience an emotional breakdown due to his inability to express his feelings for her, stemming from his limited social skills and emotional intelligence. In an alternate reality, Sheldon envisions a deeper and more meaningful connection with Paige. This concept also sheds light on Sheldon's refusal to acknowledge Dr. Sturgis, Dr. Linklatter, and President Hagemeyer, as he harbors resentment towards them for not guiding him in improving his social awareness. The loss of George adds another layer of grief, which helps explain Sheldon's adult behavior. The reason behind Sheldon's stubbornness and occasional meanness lies in the fact that he lost his inner spark when Paige died, making it challenging for him to accept affection and brighten up like he did when he was young. Sheldon's memory deliberately contradicts itself as a means to conceal the details of Paige's death. However, CBS ultimately rejected this idea as it was deemed excessively dark and hostile for a family sitcom.

A few others:
Why wasn't Connor at the wedding, or the funeral, or anywhere in the parent's house (he doesn't seem like he could support himself independently) or anywhere except the baby shower
What happened to Bobbi
When did Missy gain a Texan accent
Did Mee Maw go to jail or did she complete her community service
Why does Sheldon hate biology
Why did Mary on The Big Bang Theory say that they had a dog
Why did Mary tell the nuclear reactor story differently than how it happened
How come Leonard and Penny never made their voices heard on Young Sheldon They were close to him than Howard was
Did Missy quit baseball
Did Marcus actually cheat We know George didn't. We also know Missy didn't see him cheating. The person who claimed to see that was her bully who she thinks is her BFF Heather M.

Hey Mojohow about doing Questions we hope get answered in the final 5 episodes of Yellowstone! ’ I’ll start!
1. Why did Beth play dumb, or claim to not know where the train station is, but was there to meet Jamie for a photo op when he dumped his bio dad
2. What happened to lug nut boy We saw mom get shot, but no sign of him.
3. Is Walker breaking parole if he goes to TX with the cattle
4. How come we’ve never seen a photo, or even heard, John’s (Costner’s character) mom’s name
5. Who was Jamie’s bio mom, was she related to the Duttons Many have speculated she was Evelyn’s sister.
Thanks Mojo!

I think some of those questions stem form the rushed ending of >Young Shelding. Similar to TBBT, the last season seemd like they went through a checklist of the all the necessary stuff they still need to get through, to get it over with because you got something new going on and want to focus on that. I don't think we will see someone like Tam or the two doctors again, because their only connection is to Sheldon and not Georgie and Mandy. For the others, might be. Paige might be if the writers want to delve into Missys story some more, but I wouldn't bet on that.

People may not like it or agree, but it being a memoir also means sheldon could be censoring or covering up some of the stuff that happened in his childhood. Sometimes he's more socially aware than he lets on, may not want to drag his dad through the dirt. A lot of the stuff that happened in BBT didn't happen in young sheldon at all. Sheldon's mom had to go home from germany in BBT, and Sheldon broke his father's clavical. They definitely picked and chose what they wanted to use and left out most of the trauma.

I think its just hard for the writters to tie everything together due to the times in which young sheldon was filmed and how far tbbt was at the point. In real life, these things happen. I had a best friend in primary school, everyday we would hang out. When we both went to different secondary schools, communication stopped. Those days we had no internet etc. never saw him again. People grow apart as they grow. As sheldon got older, other people played bigger parts in his life.

All the questions are academic since it's fiction and not real. Sorry for being Captain Obvious, but the parent series couldn't possibly conceive of all the characters and plot lines created for the spin-off. I'd be more surprised if there had been perfect symmetry and continuity between the two shows. A flawless or all-inclusive timeline would've taken more than Sheldon's eidetic memory to accomplish. It would've taken a time machine.

Wait! Was Missy separated from her SECOND husband or her first in BBT S11 I thought it was her first and that she got married a second time after BBT and had 2 additional kids. The way I understood it, she first got married circa 2010 and divorced near the end of BBT and got married a second time a few years later and was likely still married to her second husband as of the present in Memoir

Surely we will get a Big bang reunion episode like with Friends. I hope anyways. So maybe some theories or unanswered questions will be established in that episode. But I'm not suprised there's alot not mentioned in young Sheldon as it changed and altered alot of the plot, I guess it is a reflective of Sheldon memory so he will have altered things to make it easier for him to tell.

I believe, and this is my own opinion. Since paige and missy got in trouble and missy said she hated sheldon he developed a strained atritude towards paige because of the fact that he may have viewed it as paige causing this strain he may have never forgiven paige for that and therefore blocked her out of his memeory and didnt associated with her again not even in memeory.

This has nothing to do with Young Sheldon but did anyone notice that Simon Helberg played Michael’s rival Seth in the Joey spin off The Big Bang Theory started 3 years after Joey and I always wondered whatever became of their relationship and how come Howard would never mention Michael to Sheldon & Leonard

I don’t think there wasn’t any rift of fight between Sheldon and Georgie. As Georgie stated, Sheldon went to college and that was it. Sheldon is not the kind of person that had or has any interest in anyone’s life that doesn’t involve his own interests. They just drifted apart.

The only ones I'm interested in is that leonard divorced Penny because she cheated on him with a doctor. Then, he made an obscene amount of money suing his mother for using him as a labrat and publishing it in a book, then he moved overseas.
All of Sheldon's memoirs are delusional bs.

It's sad that Mary and Missy still have a strained relationship by the finale, and it gets worse when you realise that they were the only ones left in the house by the end, with everyone else having moved out and on with their lives. At least we know that things get better for the Coopers.

This is why I wish it had gone on for at least 3 more 3 seasons. I know it's called Young Sheldon but it could have continued with Sheldon coming home for the holidays or scripting it to where he avoiding people, like he was so good at. There were so many more stories to tell.

I don’t think the spin off of the spin off will survive especially because fan favourite characters won’t be coming back, missy, connie and marry aren’t going to be main characters so I just don’t have a good feeling about. I think a lot won’t get awnsered

If we were to follow the family pattern, each of the siblings have impresses talents that are balanced out by being blind in other areas of their lives. Missy character should have life history of great successes and failures, with more successes than failures.

It turns out the whole thing is a Sheldon dream, he wakes up next to Amy and says I just had the most horrible dream, I grew up in an alternate universe with a family that never could been mine, they were all crazy and lived in Texas. Oh God, Texas!

There’s actually been on character who was mentioned once in the Big Bang Theory, Uncle Stumpy. Seeing that we could have met him in the episode Funeral it’s sad to say Uncle Stumpy will a character with a funny backstory only mentioned once
