10: 04. 1 of the differences between The Last Of Us Season 1 & The Last Of Us Part 1 video game is that in the show the outbreak began in 2003 when George W. Bush was President instead of 2013 like in the game, which means gay marriage wasn't legal nationwide in The U. S. yet. So, theoretically 1 additional reason why Bill & Frank chose to live on their own instead of in the Boston QZ was because they were a gay couple & they might have been discriminated against for that.

One that got me was the original Night Court: Judge Harry Stone and his inability to do right by Leon, a homeless child he tried to mentor/save. After a particularly rough episode, Harry is alone in his courtroom as Good Time Charlie’s Got the Blues plays. It was sung by Mel Torme (Harry’s admiration for the crooner is a running gag) accompanied by electric piano.

The Book of Love from the finale of the original Scrubs episode is the best tv finale moment I've ever seen. Another great Scrubs one is from the musical episode when the cast is singing You're going to be okay, and it fades out and fades back in on the patient fighting to hold back tears as she chokes out I'm going to be okay. Just wrecks me.

The song that never fails to get me emotional, also from Scrubs, is Winter by Joshua Radin at the end of the episode My Screwup. The aching poignancy of that song perfectly expresses the tragic heartbreak of that moment when Dr. Cox. SPOILER ALERT. fully realizes his best friend Ben is the one who has died.

I fully agree with and appreciate your choices, especially the final three. I would humbly add 'The Body of an American' by The Pogues as featured on The Wire. The cop bar plays it during the wakes of fallen colleagues, and it has a special double-meaning at the end.

In my mind, the Book of Love montage was the REAL ending of Scrubs. It holds so much poignant emotion, unfortunately, the network wanted a spinoff, which would follow a new bunch of medical students, and featured fleeting cameos from the original cast.

On Smallville, Johnny Cash’s cover of Hurt played while Lex was being committed to an asylum, and I bawled. It was my intro to the song and 20-some years later I still think of that scene every time I hear the song.

I always tear up when Zoey's dad sings True Colors to her. It really hits home to those who've had an ill parent whom they can no longer properly communicate with, and makes me sob every single time.
