Well, Adam Driver isn't attractive nor is he a good actor. He sucks. The Star Wars sequel trilogy, 65, & House Of Gucci are proof of that. Further proof was when he took off his helmet for the 1st time in The Force Awakens to reveal his face, my entire audience laughed.
To be fair to Pattinson, Twilight did him no favors. Even HE hated those awful films. But with Hard Times, Tenet, The Batman, The Lighthouse, and The Boy & The Heron he has more than proved himself as a leading man and put the stain of Edward Cullen in the dumpster where it belongs.

For decades Hollywood had it's own Ideas on how a star should look. Women had to be slim as a pencil with the perfect hair and blemish free complexion. Men had to be tall and dashing. If you didn't look the stereo typical part, they would try to change you to suit their needs. Looks like it's still happening today. Actors have to work hard at their craft. To really get into their character. In the end it's the viewers that are drawn to the character portrayed. The loyal fans that show the support and admiration, make the final choice.

Yeah. to anyone striving to get into Hollywood don't listen to the suits when they tell you you're not attractive enough. There's a lot more that goes into attractiveness than just your physical appearance. My friend once had a huge crush on Benedict Cumberbatch but admitted he looked like an alien. There are many unconventionally attractive celebrities who make up for it with their ridiculous charisma. So if Hollywood is your goal don't give up cause the experts don't always know what they're talking about.

I’m surprised, Michael Keaton wasn’t on this list because he was told he wasn’t handsome enough to play Bruce Wayne, and in my opinion, he played that role very well and as he has gotten older very attractive in my eyes but then again my kids and husband say I have a thing for older white men lol For example I love me some Tim Robin, Michael Douglas, Patrick Stewart, Sean Connery, Jeff Goldblum, and my favorite Patrick Swayze lol

I think it's all one's option or taste. I think Adam Driver, Cumberbatch, and Garfield are very good-looking.
Clint Eastwood may not have been my taste but his son Scott, who looks just like him, I think is gorgeous, beautiful even.
The same goes for, as I like to call him Mr. Twilight, who is quite beautiful almost pretty.
I feel every man on this list I consider nice-looking one way or another.

there’s a few actors on this list that I cannot imagine people saying they were not attractive enough for Hollywood and a few I still don’t see the appeal of looks wise tho many more people do so it’s all down to personal preference and goes to show you can’t let one person’s opinion on your appearance effect your dreams and goals in life

For me, being good looking isn't what I care about. I want to see people be able to transform into a role. The actor or actress is gone, and the character appears. Give me a great performance with emotions, and depth, etc. That's what I care about more from the actors and actresses.

Older Hollywood (up to 1950s or 60s) predominantly showed alpha male type of faces. Trickling from late 70's, and certainly 80's cinema was more open to show other faces, but the old mentality lingered (sometimes with old industry people who lived & worked in that era)

It’s really obvious Benedict cumberbatch would look amazing on camera almost entirely due to his bone structure. He’s not conventionally attractive perhaps but definitely conventionally photogenic. He and Cillian Murphy remind me a lot of each other in that way.

If not being attractive was a deal breaker in Hollywood today, most of the acting community would be kicked to the curb. Lucky for them looks and talent have been replaced with checklists and agendas.

Looks are subjective. I personally find Pattinson & Fox attractive, but not Cumberbatch. Hollywood needs all types of looks because we have all types of tastes.

Clint Eastwood not attractive enough! He is the very definition of ruggedly handsome. I’d rather see him on screen than Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt.
