I like Malawi's requirement to live in their country for at least a year before you can adopt their kids. Culture is extremely important and it's just as much nature as nurture, it's literally in our blood. It's such a powerfully complex thing that it's not something you can just read or be told about. To truly understand, you have to actually live it, a sort of ground level absorption. Especially for many African, Asian and underdeveloped nations where the culture and psyche can be unthinkable.

I liked it but Nicole Kidman does NOT have a great relationship with her adoptive kids. She wasn't invited to her daughter's wedding (who from all we hear has only seen her adopted sister from Cruise side, she was never really seen at Connor's games(from his teen years) and music gigs. And they reportedly call her a SP (: Suppressed Person) which is a terrible thing in the scientology community.

OK, I'm not a racist but most of the children adopted by celebrities are black. Why? Is there a lack of white children to go around? Also, when white children are adopted they always have either mental problems or some other horrific illness, and the parents are not told! HOW DREADFUL AND UNFAIR IS THAT? Why are only black children given the chance to be adopted?

there is a difference between adopting because you just want to adopt instead of giving a birth to a child verses adopting because you can't conceive and you use adoption as an alternative and that's what some of the celebrities did and some have adopted kids and bio kids

What's frustrating about celebrity adoptions are that these (mostly American) celebrities adopt outside of the U. S, when there are countless children here that they can adopt, but they ignore them for the go-to continent to adopt of Africa.
