i recently realized flashplayer will reach its end of life by the end of the year and this will be the fate of all those games as well.
for a while it's going to be feasible to use an outdated browser, assuming the sites will still be on, but for the long run archival is mandatory. the Flashpoint project has been doing this for a while and has the largest collection of flash media.
other than that people can download the. swf files off websites (by viewing the page source) and run them using the flashplayer debugger on adobe's site.

This is one of the funniest Polygon videos I've seen in months. I never visited the PS Mobile store, and I feel a real sense of sadness at the loss of all that software. Also, it's the same exact layout of Earth, just with a Southern Hemisphere bias. If you make this a series then I will definitely watch, no joke

Some videos with Nick I can still watch and even enjoy (like smashing cool cool cars into pulp) But this one is intolerable! He just really wants to download all the games with almost naked girls in them, eh? What a piece of trash, huh? Polygon would do well to strike this from the records.

I had a Sony Ericson Play for about a year. Never messed with the Play Station Mobile Store on it, but it was a decent phone and the game pad that slid out of the back was perfect for Gameboy/SNES emulators. It could even, just, handle some N64 games too.

HTC phones were supported back in 2012 like the EVO and One X. I got one game that told me to insert a PSP memory card on my phone which was interesting (and later removed in an update)
