Here's some gameplay highlights from our time with Homefront: The Revolution's co-operative 'Resistance Mode, ' in a mission called Infiltration O man that clip-on thing on the gun.
That is not how Motion (physics) works, the -clip thingy- would move like that if it was attatched to a vehicle and the gun was stationary and attached to said vehicle.
Attached to a handheld object it would hardly move at all.
Just try it at home and youll all se what I mean.
Is this nitpicking? Maybe but Im 55 sec in the video and that thing alreathy bothered the crap out of me so imagine hours of gameplay with that thing defying physics.
Edit:
Oh my god it gets even worse 4: 20 in to the clip and now were on a vehicle and the clip thingy is freaking out.
Oh and that tunnel in to the base was that supposed to be a -Secret- entrance because if it was whos job is it to change the batteries on those lights attached to the road cones.\r\n

The first two guys the player shot were maybe, 30 feet, at most away from the 3rd guy he killed. Would that guy really not have heard what the gunfire? Or the person screaming -RELOADING- in an abandoned building. I always liked the idea of the game, it's just a shame they don't seem to be really able to capitalize on it.

IDK i am going to wait and see how this game does when it's out. It's nice that there is co-op play that's a great touch. But this game play looks bland and boring. But for some funny reason it reminds me of call of duty 2 when it came out for xbox 360 back in 2005. Does anyone feel the same.

I see a lot of UI element that lifted from various games. Threat meter and health meter from Far Cry, onscreen weapon mod from Crysis. Is every modern FPS started to fuse into a same form?
reply

FPS's are in need of another Halo CE/Modern Warfare moment. This game, just at a core level, seems so derivative. I don't even blame the game though - we just need something to mix things up.

The lack of dynamic shadows is worrying, even for a Beta. And I sure hope they're gonna work with Crytek to implement SVOTI because all that lighting looks so flat and inaccurate.

this game definitely needs more time. it doesn't help it's been in development hell for quite some time, though I am still interested to see how the open world is realized

This games looks bad, what the hell. This is not what I seen in the trailers. Its ashame, I had high hopes for this game. After this footage, I will never touch

Well, the game is pretty, but seriously lacking in animations. And why are the team mates yelling when they're supposedly infiltrating a compound?
reply

Why do all of the enemies have glow sticks on their faces? Also, a major lack of animations makes the game play look primitive.

1. 39 North Koreans must have invented invisibility suits. Player rounds the corner and one disappears in to thin air.

Where is the sound design? I get that its an early demo, but everything is dead silent outside of gunfire/speech.
reply

Gameplay looks -alright- but this looks far from finished. May release seems like it might be too early for it.

is this game going to be open world in the way it has a map we can explore or is it just open missions
