Combat and dialog evolved in medieval RPG Facepalming once more at all these ridiculous comments nitpicking about every tiny detail in a -beta-! Its so painfully obvious most of you have absolutely no idea how developing a video game works. Theyre not going to fix every tiny detail and focus on making the game sparkly clean of bugs and clunkiness for a beta. Theyre just basically making it playable to check things out. Working on tiny details right now would be a waste of time, since theyd have to go back and work on them all over again later. They cant make the combat 100% smooth yet, cause they have to finish the basics of it first. They cant fix an NPC pushing the player out of the camera during dialogue yet, cause the NPCs still have a shit ton of variables to code, and fixing something so minor at this point will only cause potential problems later. Dialogue and voice acting are, yes, awful currently, but of course theyre not gonna hire professional voice actors at this point of development. This is how developing a game works. You build the basics first, then you fix it. Of course you can fix/polish some few things before that, sometimes even have to, if something is completely broken, but for the most part this is how it works. You cant fix or polish whats not been created yet.\r\n

Sorry but I just don't think this game will be anything more than mediocre. Reasons: 1. The scriptwirting is very generic and almost boring. There is no humor and nothing intriguing about the npcs. They all talk the same and have no personality whatsoever. This game needs some decent scripting and a lot of pollishing before it can be released. I hope that at least the gameplay mechanics are more promissing. we will see I guess.

Looks great, guys! :) I hope you are gonna work on the reactions of the enemies( not just that they are slow, they also don't say much and when there is no progress in the fight like holding their stomach a bit after getting hurt or even moaning and screaming when being hit. Also the enemies don't look dead at all. More like injoured by their wounds so it would be nice to finish them on the ground etc.

I've been following this game for a while and I love the idea of it but from seeing this it's clear it still needs a lot of work.
I really like the style of it though, it reminds me of mount and blade in a way and I actually quite like the look of the combat, even though it's quite clunky right now.

dialogue didnt seem too terrible so much as the pacing and timing of the dialogues + cuts between the two characters? i can imagine giving the clunky dialogue a 'pass' so long as the actual scene and framing of the conversation wasn't so jarring. still has my interest: )

Oh come on do finally something with combat system you cant run backward with sword in your hands while looking at your oponent just try it. moving backward should be slower

The combat system looks incredibly awful, is it better on mouse and keyboard? Chivalry's combat system is something they'll need to look at.

Are we just gonna ignore that at 2: 01 an NPC pushed the main character out of frame? It's the little things that really make it.

Cmon its just a beta, but it still looks awesome, look at the f---in forest, I want the forest like this in all games!

The camera/player movements don't seem very natural, I hope the devs would pay more attention to this.
