My problem is i'm too damn stubborn. First I say, since I got a full set of Lothric knight armor and weapons. I decided the shield looks sweet slung across my back, then theres also the fact that I keep trying to just roll around like a steel tumble weed so as to use my longsword with two hands. You know take advnatage of that extra damage. So if i wasn't so damn stubborn and kept the shield out I feel this game would be WAAY easier than i'm mkaing it by using no shield lol.

people aren't lying when they say these games are hard. this is my first dark souls game and ive had to learn some hard lessons. ive been trying to save up 20k souls for the tower key and twice now ive died with a ton of souls and not been able to make it back to the spot. twice and I lost several hours of play time lol. first time I had 19100 souls and the second time I had like 15000. very punishing.

Im curious but is it possible to skip his second stage? because i somehow skipped his second stage and i have no clue why or how i skipped it o_O i would been fine with fighting his stage 2 cause he is pretty easy but somehow i either ran into a glitch or somehow got lucky i was using a long sword and i was two handing it (I believe it took me maybe 4 tries or 3 tries to beat him)

If you can hang back and bait him in to standing up and flopping forward, with you rolling to his left hand side as he falls towards you you can get a good solid five hit combo on that arm, couple that with the egg sack on his wrist, ankle and top of his right thigh you'll get him down without taking much damage.

on this 1st stage, just take a bow and arrow and shoot his balls till they pop, then on his 2nd stage when in the lower level, just stand far away while facing the arm and he will stand up and fall down, run to his left (your right when looking at his front) and when he falls hit his arm for free, repeat till dead.

-I don't think there is anyone who can dodge consistently. - ahaha, I can't wait for him to get to the armorer, or Pontiff Sylyvahn. The greatwood's attacks are child's play to avoid compared to those bosses.

I think this guy bugged for me, the 'egg' sack never broke so it didn't smash the floor and he sat mostly still just swiping and killing the extra guys. Made it very easy, was only my second attempt.

I have died more times to this boss than Ornstein and Smough + The Four Kings combined. Half tempted to try out a cheat program or something just to progress through this boss.
