Nintendo never did love hotels. It-s a urban legend.
Florent Gorges- books -The History of Nintendo- debunked this myth and explained the possible reasons behind this popular belief.
Please research a bit more, and more importantly, please stop spreading rumors as if they were facts.

It is a misunderstanding that Nintendo was running a love hotel. The business that started after the taxi company Owner who was owned by Nintendo left Nintendo is love hotel management. Nintendo does not run a love hotel directly. Do not take a lie and make a video.

Is there data suggesting that Polygon viewers are predominately upper-middle class? Because I adore the idea that some intern at Audi somehow convinced the marketing department of this.

actually the use of the mulberry tree bark is to be boiled and beaten into a pulp, to be used for making the sheets of paper that will compose the stock of the hanafuda cards.

Is there an episode from the podcast The History of Fun: Nintendo? If not, it's overdue. Might have to break this down into a two part special

I'm gonna be thinking about the fact that Nintendo ran love hotels for a while. How. interestingly off-brand. (Though I guess not)

I was waiting for some weird meta joke about Audi but then. they're just a sponsor? This is not the Polygon I'm used to.

You forgot to mention the Duck Hunt toy/game they made in 1976. Their first -video- game, if 100% electro-mechanical.

The Color TV Game 6 came before the Color TV Game 15, so I would say that was their start in the world of games.

Loved this video, is there a chance of The Incredible History of becoming a regular Brian-led series? :)
reply

Aw man, I wish this was longer. I want to know more - there's a lot more interesting stuff in their history.
