Welp, I'm not really sold. Seems like a retread of ACO, with new features that are few and far between, in a location that really does feel to similar to ancient Egypt in many ways. Doesn't really seem like the dialogue will be that interesting, because lets face it this is NOT a full RPG. Seafaring is fun, but I've done that before in a ship with canons and Captain's Quarters, which makes this feel like a step back. Combat looks VERY clunky and not as streamlined as past AC games, not by a longshot. Two protagonists is cool but confusing. No real assassins in this anywhere nor should there be considering this takes place hundreds of years before ACO. After playing 250 hours of ACO, this doesn't seem fresh enough for me to get into.

i dont really care if people dont think this is like assassins creed anymore, it has a lot of what i love in a game and i want it just for that. origins caught some of my interest but not enough to make me go and get it but this? yeah, i want it for sure. which makes up for me not being that interested in bioware's new game (mostly w the fact there wont be romance in anthem, i can look to Odyssey instead it seems. mostly because you can be gay. also, i loved the ship stuff in black flag so im very happy to see thats back.

Assassin's Creed Stone age leaked the story will be in the Stone age stone age human will fight with alien(alien is fighting with humans because they want the ancient technology peace of Eden) but the human will defeat the alien so as there was few alien left they made a genetic modify human which is the templar and when the Templar find all the ancient technology they will message to alien to come and take. Wow this the leaked story.

So as someone who has missed the last few games, did they ever pick back up on the modern-day frame story? I know they got rid of that by and large because a lot of the audience found it boring and off-putting, but that was my favorite part of the first several games, and the drop-off of that storyline was part of why the series lost its hold on me.

I bet this game has a lot of hoods and stealth clothing to look like Assassins and not hoplites. It was a marketing strategy for the company to start the game trailers with hoplite armor for the two characters. If you can explore this massive map, then getting your hands on different types of armor and clothing is a given, so stop complaining people.

I really hope they fix the combat. I mean, what happened to blocking and parrying into sweet, brutal combos? And why the hell do the characters fly back 20 feet when you hit them for God's sake? It looks way too cartoonish and cheesy. Oh, and why the hell does a boat explode into flames when you hit it with arrows? Come on Ubisoft.

Assassins Creed became an RPG game out of a sudden, why? what happened to the franchise? The game used to much more exciting that it is right now. Besides, look how terrible the mechanics of this game feel. Ubisoft needs to do better than this in order to computer with other developers.

They need to at least have the hidden blade and have something to do with the Assassin Brotherhood. If they got nothing to do with the Brotherhood, then it's really not a an Assassins Creed game, just a game that was developed by Assassins Creed creators.

I actually came here to make a _Super Mario Odyssey_ joke, but then I watched the whole video and goddamn, this looks pretty damn cool so far. I haven't been following the AC games since _Brotherhood_ and this might get me back into the series.

I hated the combat of origins. I miss the epic cinematic kills after you're combos. The seriously need to put that back in. So much more satisfying than just swing a sword and a guy falls down.

I love the evolution of this series. Origins was a great first step, yet still felt a bit shallow in certain areas. This new game looks like it's taking more steps to remedy that.

Shields were important by all Hoplite Warriors. Especially by the Spartans. No Shield use for the Main Character is not a good choice. Can you hear me Ubisoft! :)

I wonder if later in the game you will be able to romance certain npcs. I wanna have some boy on boy/girl on girl action! This is Ancient Greece after all! -

This is no Assassins Creed. This is just a historical fiction game, but no Assassins Creed. Stop using the name Assassins Creed.

Loved this when i saw it and then was massivly disapointed when i realised we dont get shields in a spartan game

Damn, Kassandra has some strong arms! And I though the new Shadow of the Tomb Raider Lara was buffed up!

ngl the return of sea shanties made me genuinely excited (also being an ancient gay pirate in general)
