Nioh All Kodama Locations Part 1: Kyushu Region (Isle of Demons, Deep in the Shadows, The Spirit Stone Slumbers. Nioh has 150 Kodama Collectible Locations. Finding all Kodamas unlocks the Kodama Leader Trophy. There are 6 regions in the game and each has 25 Kodamas scattered across main- and side missions. As you play through the story new regions will unlock. The regions are (in this order): Kyushu, Chugoku, Kinki, Tokai, Sekigahara, Omi. At shrines you can select Kodama Blessings. They are divided into 5 categories: more amrita, more weapon drops, more armor drops, more elixir drops, more material drops. Each of these blessing categories has 5 kodamas per region (5 categories x 5 kodamas = 25 kodamas per region. The more kodamas you find the stronger the blessing will become. Your Kodamas reset in every region. When you go to the second region you have to find 25 Kodamas again to earn the blessings. The Kodamas in old regions are still saved but have no effect in new regions. None of these collectibles are missable. They can all be obtained via mission select at any time (even after beating the story. When you scroll over a mission it will show how many you found there. To see your total progress press Touchpad - Titles - Gameplay Record - Other - Kodama found (%. Please note this gives only a percentage and not the number of collectibles found. If you missed a Kodama don't worry. A lot of side missions & twilight missions take place in the same area and you can find the Kodamas there, too! They have the same locations of course. You can also speedrun the mission real quick and quit out after finding the Kodama (use item Himorogi Fragment from inventory to quit. All Collectibles are saved instantly. You don't have to reach the next checkpoint and don't have to pick them up again if you die. You can quit the mission immediately after finding the last Kodama

In all honesty it's a terrible game. The developers didn't game much otherwise they would have developed something where you wouldn't die with 4 hits regardless of level of armour. Everything from weapon or armour is aesthetic. They provide very little protection and you spend most of the game dying and reviving. Btw I completed Souls, Sekeiro as well as Fallen order. Nioh is just a bad game.

Having played Nioh 2 last year when it came out before the remaster, I've learned my lesson with these little green bastards. Once I open a shortcut or get to the next shrine I'll pull up a video, it might ruin some of the immersion but after finding like 200 of them in Nioh 2 I'd rather not take the chance missing one or two of them.

Nice guide as usual, Powerpyx!
Anyway, I'm playing this game right now after having finished Sekiro, and when I approached a shrine, I pressed square by accident instead of circle. I felt so horrible when I saw that I cut down the Kodama on top and became sad. Luckily, the lil' buddy respawned immediately. Phew!

Nioh ist at the moment much better than DS3 - i loved the souls series, but since balancing is like a giant trashpack and people are all the same its simply shit - i hope the invasion will be a part of nioh, pvp and especially 1v1 in a way of honor would be awesome!

Firstly, great video, all your effort is greatly appreciated.
Secondly, In that area where you spoke to the woman, i just got there last nite and a boss was there. So when i kill the boss will i then speak to the woman?

I spent an hour looking for that little shithead. Kept searching an hour more in the temple looking for a pair of eyes on the wall because by that point, it HAD to be super hidden. Thanks Powerpyx

Guys, tell me what to do. in 1 mission I collected all 9 creatures, but in statistics and on the altar they are all the same 8. I reshuffled 1 mission 4 times - it did not help.

I don't suppose when you are sending those little guys back to the shrine(s) that you have -invincibility- frames do you. like in Dark Souls when you are opening doors?
