I don't have much respect for most vets as they default to euthanizing an animal without doing the hard work of differential diagnosis. Unlike other medical practitioners (i. e. with medical degrees, veterinarians can practice right after earning their DVM WITHOUT post graduate training. A physician like myself HAVE to have post graduate training (i. e. called residency) to be able to procure a license and practice medicine. Think about it,

Its ridiculous how many vets do this the first thing that comes out of their mouths after they exam the cat put her down and those people are SUPPOSED to rescue animals! I had my fair share with vets encountered good and bad once but to the bad ones i only can say gtfo of your job work in a mc dinalds drive thru but not as someone who should make any attempt to rescue a animal instead of just giving up to save time etc etc!

Many years ago I had a blind mini cat (Sophia) found in a wetland (swamp in Florida. She was an adult, and her earlier owner had her declawed. Within a week, she had memorized my house. The other cats gave her space, because she was a spitfire kitty. Probably due to being mistreated. But she loved sitting on my lap and purring. She’s up with Mili now. Both can see now.

While adorable, and a fantastic come back story. With a family that really loves her. That being said I don't think it is about the survival chances but quality of life. When they were suggesting she be put down. The chances that this cat would grow up in internal torture is very high. She definitely got lucky here, but I would side with the 7 vets on this one on the regular.

Just found this video. Mili will be very missed, but God gave her such caring and loving parents when the doctors didn't. The big takeaway I think to Mili's life and love is that anything is possible. Never give up, ever. And never give up on the ones you love so dearly. Rest well in heaven, Mili, in the arms of the Savior.

I just got this in my video feed and she’s already gone. What a beautiful cat she turned out to be. Wish I could have held her. Your kindness towards her care is greatly appreciated. Thank you. We loved and lost three darling cats the last one passed away in 2020. The best eighteen years of our lives. RIP MILI

People have such a hard time understanding something being unlikely and something being impossible, not one person told her it wasn't possible but she goes around bad mouthing them and acting like she knew something others didn't, pathetic.

I usually agree with the decisions that the Dodo videos show but on this one you got it wrong. Prolonged suffering of a cat or any animal is not something to be celebrated at all.

She is the sweetest little thing. Even for a blind cat she is doing very well. A kitten with so much problems came to be the little cat she is today.

This wonderful cat mom passed July 3 2020, Mili on October 22 2019. I like to believe they're back together right now. May they both Rest In Peace
