Animals are incredible and very intelligent in different ways from humans. Its a shame foxes are maligned in Australia like that, because they are fantastic, as this family sees!

I find it horrible that this sweet little fox will be in a cage all his life. No matter how kind this little girl is, the reality is, the fox is in a cage 24/7 and always will be, since the girl's mother doesn't want to release the fox to the wild where he belongs. Saying that it's because foxes are considered pests are such false excuses! If you release the fox at 6 in the morning or t'en at night in the forest, who will ever know The girl's woman is very selfish, and I feel terrible for this sweet fox who will be in captivity all his life.

And I like it when an innocent fox and an innocent child know the love between them. The ONLY REAL vermin, on Earth, are homo sapiens. Phoenix ignored that reputation, which she had never earned, and became a better animal, almost as perfect as a fox. Phoenix is wise beyond her years. She knows that you must treat ALL living creatures with the same respect that you expect from them. Thank you Fergie and Phoenix for reminding us of our responsibilities.

One thing is for sure, that little girl will make some guy quite lucky one day. She is an earnest kid who actually understands love in both it's intangible form and the duties that are required to maintain it. Wish more of the world taught their kids this and the world would be a better place.

I laugh when I hear people calling many creatures vermin, yet its not those creatures polluting our rivers, oceans, lakes and atmosphere. and destroying the rain forests. In fact, if they could talk they would be calling humans vermin, and they would be right to do so.

I honestly think animals realise how safe they are with children and it is all to do with innocence, I hope Phoenix gets her dream, I cannot think of a more loving carer of her friends, but the way she has bonded with Fergie is magic.

Fox are so intelligent. They can be skittish, but they seem drawn to humans. I have a fox family that I feed in the Winter, when food is in short supply. I don’t e want them to be too dependent on humans, and remain wild.
