Initially, the doggie was scared, but later gaining confidence, but still friendly and polite, with very occasional exuberance. This is the kind of pitbull you want to adopt.
You dont want to adopt a pitbull with the tail up, almost vertical, either rigid or wagging rapidly, but narrowly and vertically, even when doing nothing. Thats a sign of unstable, and high strung pitbull.

This breaks my heart and feels my heart all at the same time.
How patient they were with her, is so touching.
It breaks my heart to think what she must have been through.
What is wrong with some ppl.
She just looked defeated and broken.
Walking with her shoulders down etc, it’s so soul destroying to see an animal be like that.
To see her now is just amazing.
I’m so so happy for her.

A pit bull raised properly and treated with love and care are some of the best dogs in the world but on the other hand they can be very violent if raised in a violent home or whatever, it's not really their fault and because of some unfortunate occurrences of pit bulls attacking and sometimes killing people they've gotten a horrible reputation

so many of these clips are pet owners, applying human emotion or logic to a dog, or cat, etc. dogs feel fear, & joy. yes they can be depressed in a sense where they are more fearful & reserved than happy. you dont 'need' to carry a dog, or really do anything. Just be consistent, & patient, EVERY animal will grow comfortable, without exception.

It makes me so happy to see a human respecting the dog’s boundaries and taking it as slow as the dog was comfortable with. But friendly reminder not to pick animals up with your hands in there armpits, and then dangling like that, their shoulders don’t function like ours and it isn’t comfortable and can hurt them if they’re really big.

Loved how she came out of ner shell and started bouncing around like she was on a trampoline. She discovered that it was fun and rewarding. I think she may have been close confined and isolated from any loving contact or good positive feedback.
