Crane Introduces His Babies To His Human Best Friend Every Year Good thing your HOA is nice about it - the HOA in Coles Crossing subdivision in Cypress, Texas brutally captured all the ducks because they decided they didnt like them and most likely murdered them because nothing was told to the community - we just saw them capturing them with nets because the poor things trusted people. The cowards did it in secret without notifying the community so most of the community doesnt even realize what happened. Very sad. Talk about cowardly abuse of power!

I'm not exactly sure how this happens, but we were adopted by first a family of geese, when they were expectant parents, my porch was the first place they hit for photo op, then I was adopted by a baby great blue heron, he was actually my favorite baby. I can tell you even if you move and come visit years later, they DO remember you. Just wonderful!

How do you hit an animal that size I see so many dead animals in the road on my way to work, & if you’re paying attention, you’re not going to hit one. Ive had co workers who say they don’t even try to avoid them (I ain’t getting in no accidents over no animal.

A couple of penelope birds once started appearing on my backyard when we left fruits for the birds, bats and monkeys. They had a chick that would come with them. To this day we still receive visits from their descendants

Dammit Carl lol. I made a crane friend once while fishing. He taught me where to cast and I showed him the great invention called Slim jims. im glad to say we're still homies to this day lol

It’s so cute and Tunney but in a few more years when there are over 20 of them all knocking on the doors and windows there may be a problem.

That’s insane! She didn’t rescue or raise him from when he was a baby. Karl just literally chose her out of no where for no reason!
reply

She shouldn’t have encouraged the birds to come to her because they put themselves at risk of getting killed on the road.

What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing it's amazing that you could tell them all apart cuz they all look the same to me.
reply

The cranes obviously have bonded with you. They are so lovely. I hope with the crossing that they will be safe.

Cranes are a cultural symbol in my culture (some see it as a religion) it's called Alevisim.

Seems like crossing the road should be safe because they automatically look both ways.
