My hub keeps wanting me to learn how to scuba diving and I feel scared to dive because maybe I will get bit by shark. But when I see your video. It makes me feel like why I am scared if I'm not harming them They are scary looking because of big teeth but they only use it for defense and getting some food. They are beautiful creatures and I want to learn how to dive and help to remove the hook to the shark. Also, the ocean is getting polluted and finding a group to clean the ocean. Thank you so much for helping the shark. They are so sweet like pets.

unlike surfers and swimmers, scuba divers are extremely rare to be attacked by sharks(still happens sometimes). anyway this woman deserves a noble prize in sharks' research and Guinness world record for having biggest balls to put her arm into sharks mouth to help it. Somewhere I saw people putting their arms in crocodiles' maw, not always ended well, so not suggesting to repeat

I believe that the shark is the scavenger of sick and dead individuals in the sea. Such individuals lose their color, so it is recommended to use dark, strongly colored diving suits when diving, so that the shark does not mistake the diver for having lost its color - sick or dead, because then the shark thinks the diver is a target that should be eliminated from the sea.

You have to be really a good and kind person to receive such trust from other animals. It is amazing how much common we have with so many animals around us that understand the language of love and friendship. So beautiful to be able to experience this first hand with wild (stranger) animals. Anyone who has grown up with pets will know how much they are like us.
reply

Makes some sense. It reminds me of when you see fish and sharks going to certain animals to get cleaned. It seems they can see the benefit and connect that certain creatures have in the past relieved them from pain. The others perhaps learn from watching and then copying Just curious and guessing either way cool beans!
reply

I just ask myself what kind of aura or spirit do you have to have for a shark to trust you and feel safe around. That’s got to be a God given spirit I believe God created us to care for nature not abuse it the way we do
reply

Love this! But I must say that the trust doesn't go both ways, does it After all, you have chainmail on. That said, I think this is a great step in the right direct to establish a better relationship with sharks. Great work!
reply

Um its cool to be one with the sharks and all but people need to understand that sharks attack unprovoked. There are over 60 shark related deaths per year dont send the message that this is anything but idiotic.
reply

I hope there is someone that can carry on this marvellous and kind work. this is just the most amazing thing I have ever seen. its beautiful. We need all animals if there on earth we need them!
reply

I see ONLY a certain species of sharks in this vid that Cristina has this positive interaction. I do not think Cristina would be ok removing hooks from great white, bull and tiger sharks.
reply

Imagine this as a movie. she helps the sharks and they in turn help rescue her from some strange sea creature/s maybe evil mermaids that capture her! lol. My imagination is limitless lol
reply

Thank you for all you do, for being so kind and caring and understanding, for helping humans understand sharks, to see them through your eyes, your heart, you are a beautiful creature yourself.
reply

What a truly beautiful, kind, and loving human being! I wish we had more people like her, or even more people who would appreciate her & what she does. THANK YOU, Cristina Zenato!

I don’t think I could ever stand still at the bottom of the ocean with tons of sharks circling me, even if they’re not attacking me or have any intention to
reply

I'm literally crying. I don't want human existence to be a burden to the rest of the life on this Earth! I'm so glad this woman is helping these sharks!
reply

This woman is absolutely beautiful sets a real example for all those other silly girls who swim with sharks and think they’re holy and protected
reply

Aloha! You are saving our water world, our mineral world, our air! The Universe appreciates you! Ushering humans to harmony! Asante
reply

I’ve heard of hookers, but never dehookers. And somehow she demonstrates that sharks are safer and more reliable than men.
reply

Spatial thanks to this woman who shows us that the shark is not our enemy and taht we need him for the ecosystem.
reply

There’s a lot of people out there don’t get that trust between shark including professional divers
reply

Hooks works their way out of fish fairly quickly and it’s generally safer that way for the fish.
reply

They need a eco system to be part of, but because of humanity we won't have a eco system for much longer,
reply

Can we talk about why there are so many hooks in the first place. Humans suck! Something must be done
reply

It's our world too. We can go into the ocean and into space, sharks can only live in the ocean.
reply

The footage, the hooks being removed and her relationships are outstanding! She is blessed.
reply

nice to learn shark is also friendly and smart, altough definitely not comparable with whales.
reply

Beautiful work, sharks are like dogs but a small drop of blood can change everything instantly
reply

Its the spirit of the being in the human that allows the shark to trust that person.
reply

This is beautiful I have always loved Sharks but when they eat humans I kind of dislike them
reply

The sharks are like babies to her. So intense thinking of how grateful they were.
reply

Sharks have been around since before trees and bony fish. So much to learn from them.
reply

Nice to see a diver taking sensible precautions with the shark suit for a change.
reply

How does she remove the hook without ripping more flesh from the barb
reply

Hey, you can't swim here. There are sharks.
Me: It's ok, I know what to do.
