Groundhog caught on camera smugly eating all the veggies in this guy's garden. We're celebrating Earth Day by talking to Jeff, an avid garden whose life was turned upside down when he met Chunk, a groundhog with a big appetite. 6 years later, he's feeding Chunk and his many children and grandchildren the freshest veggies and he’s about to release a children’s book to recount their very special journey!

I always feed the wildlife. make animal wild friendly lawns that don't require mowing. clover etc. feed the bees, butterflies, bunnies. let everything flourish and plant trees for wildlife and you! Share. and don't spend tons for big Corps on your lawn and pest control even though they're not pests. because they can't find food. go back to how it was before

This book is bound to be a favorite with children (and adults) every wear. As you embraced your Chunks and Nibbles and babies. I embraced my foxes and opossum. It is wonderful helping wildlife. You are emulating the wonderful author and conservationist. Thornton Burgess. Cheers to you, your family and your Groundhog family.

Wow, what a great family. the humans too. This warms my heart. I think most people would be upset over Chunk and his gang. Instead, Jeff and family created a safe haven for their furry friends. We need more stories like this. and lovely humans too. Thanks.

I get how it's cute and whatever but you can't lose food to a pest and not feed your own family people are not animals and there is an order to this world. I can't believe someone would make a garden for a rodent over his own family. Smh.

god will certainly reward you for having shown understanding and love to one of his creatures. my prayers for your well being for you and your beautiful family.

The man is a totally gem. If everyone was open enough to understand animals and realize how much they are just like us. just trying to survive and raise a family

I so sorry about your veggie loss BUT I am laughing my butt off as I write this. It’s raining and dreary so I needed a good laugh. Thanks Chunk and family.

So you grow strawberries, apple, carrots, tomatoes, and so many things, so you must have a very large farm!
