I've GOT to tell you. Bubby IS MOST DEFINITELY a soul that you know, perhaps from a previous life. But he KNOWS YOU, even if you don't remember him, atm. The way he is always making biscuits and wanting to groom you not only tells me that he is at his very happiest when giving/receiving affection with you. It also tells that Bubby knows that he's (what a fluke) FOUND YOU AGAIN and he is NOT GOING TO LET YOU OUT OF HIS SIGHT, HE'S NEVER GOING TO LET YOU GO.
You may or may not believe me. I am someone who has had PROFOUNDEST N. D. E. 's, not only that, I am the woman who held my sister's hand before she passed just a day ago. Please at least consider these possibilities. I wish you and Bubby the very best of life together. And perhaps, if the claws (while he's being SO AFFECTIONATE, lol) you could try deflection, or I mean, like each time he goes to do it and it's a bit too much, redirecting his focus with, toys, treats, puzzles. With (generally MORE than dogs need, lol) A LOT of patience, cats can indeed be taught to modify their problematic behaviours. Again, anyawy, may you both have a great day.

PLEASE replace your allowing with boundaries, but also in place of it, spend an enjoyable time of 15 minutes a day with QUALITY TIME. You have to be loyal to setting out this time for him. When you initiate, then he thinks it is out of love and caring that you do that. And he won't be constantly asking you if you have love and caring. He will know! HE JUST NEEDS QUALITY ATTENTION so he know you love and care for him.

No way is my cat touching my face with their paws. It would be the equivalent of a family member or friend splashing around in the toilet after using it and then coming to touch you. Plus, there can be very dangerous parasites in cat waste; especially for anyone who may be/plans to get pregnant. ESPECIALLY don’t let them get their paws near your eyes or mouth. Same goes for most every animal, too; not just cats

My two cats were found in different times of my life. My orange cat just showed up at our house. After looking and realizing she didn’t have a home, we took her in. They really do show up when you need them most. I always say God sent them to me, He knew what I needed at just the right time. I’m so happy Bubby came into her life when she wasn’t doing so well. Animals are truly a blessing.

My two cats were found in different times of my life. My orange cat just showed up at our house. After looking and realizing she didn’t have a home, we took her in. They really do show up when you need them most. I always say God sent them to me, He knew what I needed at just the right time. I’m so happy Bubby came into her life when she wasn’t doing so well. I have a senior who is clingy as well. She seemed confused by petting and affection and I suspect she hadn't much interaction with her former people. Now that she's figured out this whole being loved thing there's no end to it. I have her right in my face, especially at bed time.
Sometimes I'm glad when she hops off the bed and goes to a cooler spot. But I do love her.

2: 51 I am the only child of 2 people descended from huge families. All of my aunts and uncles have multiple sets of kids. I am the only only, on both sides. My cats are everything to me, and I am everything to them. How could any affection from your babies be unwanted

0: 16 BTW: he looks like my baby’s twin. My Captain Fantastic does all of the same things! He will make biscuits on my facemy lipshe wraps himself around my head, when I am lying down. Regular nail trimming is the key to family harmony.

This is a very loving kitty. My gdness you are a great momma to him. He’s very handsome but definitely doesn’t understand about personal space. Mittens is a great companion. Your fur baby’s are Adorable.

As much as I was crying with laughter and couldn't breathe the cat distribution system and Bubby chose her and she chose a friend for him. Such heartwarming hooman cat bonds truly melt my heart and make my day! :)

My cuddlebug saw me as her Mama, and constantly needed to be close. I loved it, and 2 years after losing her after 18 wonderful years together, I miss that affection all the time. RIP Hannah Banana

Lol it’s not comfortable at all but it’s tolerable - I do the same thing with my dogs they have zero sense of personal space but they’re toooooo cute I just give in

You probably get the best facial. . I had a clingy cat. He loved to suck on my ear. He was always in my lap and in my bed with me. I miss him terribly.

Great move getting another cat! They tend to be less anxious if they have a friend. Also, doesn't that hurt your face His claws are out.
