What a wonderful little dog. How could anyone let him get into such a state. If he were mine and I could not afford to take him to the groomers I would find our how to do it. Even if only to tidy him up till I could afford to take him. He must have been in a lot of pain with all that neglect. One of my favourite sayings is 'A Dog is for Life not just for Christmas'. Just wish everyone around the globe would that take that in & abide by it. Applies to all living creatures as far as I am concerned. We are only the carers of this planet. M

I would have NEVER guessed that was a shih tzu underneath all that matted mess. They said he was a puppy, but how could that puppy have accumulated such a THICK matting in just a few months That looked like a couple of YEARS worth of neglect, to me.
I'm just glad he is with this wonderful couple. I know they will love and spoil him, and NEVER let him be neglected again.

A big shout-out to these folks that cleaned up that little dog. If not for them who knows what would have happened to this little furry guy.
And it's great that he has a new home and gets to go out and is enjoying life! That's what we need more of good people working together for good things in this world.

I just don't understand how this poor little dog could have got in this condition. I also have a feeling that there are many many dogs like this. His little teeth are so cute they remind me of my Pee Wee who just passed away at the age of 13. I miss him so dearly . ..

Thank you for saving that dog. I do wonder why you wouldn’t sedate an animal that needs this much grooming They are trembling with fear. They have ready lived such a horrible life.

I can't believe somebody abandoded this adorable puppy. As a shih tzu owner, I know they are one of the most gentle and affectionate breeds.
