I am really very grateful that where I live people are smart and spay and neuter their cats, so there is not a proliferation of kitties looking for new people, not on the streets anyway. I am grateful, it's the best thing. But it does mean I will never be a participant in the cat distribution system and that makes me kinda sad. Lovely Buddha, I'm glad you found each other.

We own a stray, she let us carry her inside during a storm, we dried her off in the garage and kept her there, not wanting her to stay in since the parents weren’t home. Nowadays she gets 24/7 cuddles and love, and hyperthyroid meds. Super sweet thing, chose us and never looked back.

And he will see. black cats are the best! I have had cats my entire life. I had special looking ones and super normal European house cats. and all I can recap is, that the normal looking ones (sorry. in german it is unscheinbar) Are the best. they do have the best personalities

Animals give your life more meaning when you have somebody to enjoy it with comfort you and be there for you. that’s Buddha now your life’s complete and has meaning because you’re taking care of somebody else and you have feelings for something else then yourself hence Buddha

My cat belonged to the neighbors. I took her home several times and she just kept showing up at my house. The neighbors never asked for her back so we kept her. We eventually moved to another state with her. Cats don't care what you think. If they found home they found home.

It’s one thing to have a cat but it’s something else when they pick you. We had a stray cat come to our house a year and a half ago and now she’s ours. That’s the good part. The bad part is, she still like to roam around at night and sleep in the house all day.

Im 70 yrs old, and Ive never gone looking for a pet, they have all literally walked into my life and enriched it. I was taught as a child that animals were a gift from God for us to love and care for. Its been the mantra of my life. You felt it too, didnt you Brandon

Kittens hitch rides in engine compartments and end up miles from home (freeways; parking lot. It’s hard to know if anyone is looking for them, but always scan at least. Buddha clearly loved humans so he was more likely lost, than abandoned.

This is awesome, and I love this duo! Pretty cool how Buddah immediately took to his savior - he definitely knew where he wanted to be and will always show his love and gratitude for being saved from that empty parking lot poor fella

Please get him an airtag or some sort of locator. If he ever gets startled by a dog or something, he could run for miles or hide for days. We lost a cat on holiday like this once, and he was found months and two mountains away.

Cats & crack - after the first try you're hooked! So glad this dude accepted he was chosen immediately. He is very self aware to know that he is now a crazy cat person and life without one is not really living: )

1: 02 That shaved fur on his right fore leg. It really looks like what vets usually do to give IV fluid to cats. Could it be this cat had escaped from a vet clinic You probably want to get him a health check.

The fact that her one leg had been shaved like she had had an IV makes me wonder if she had not been dumped because she was sick. But she is a beautiful fur baby. You gave her the perfect name. Congratulations.

What’s weird is that cat had one leg that was clearly shaved recently, which is what they would do at the vet. What human bothered to take their cat to the vet only to abandon them

black cats are special, they are so loving, more people should adopt black cats. i love the soft meow that buddha has, he has an owner that is is outgoing, buddha will love that.

You just couldn't leave that spot or him behind. An empty bowl and hot weather. It would bother you. You took him the first time so you wouldn't have to go back.

Many of these animals who look so friendly are actually lost. Please microchip your pets. If you find one post their picture on line to see if the owner shows up.
