I'm 65 now and have rented a little poolside guest apt. on a 7 acre horse property here in the NorCal foothills for the past 8 years. There is a big, covered Lanai/deck behind the pool that nobody ever uses and I often sit outside and fantasize about how fun it would be to turn it into a giant catio! My old girl is 16 now so gone are the super active days but I have always wanted to design and build a catio. maybe in my next life. haha

You are just like me! I love my cat so much that my roommate and I bought a new queen sized bed for my cat so he could have a room upstairs when we watched tv. He and I had our room downstairs, but after supper, he got tired and he was older so we wanted to give him his own room so he didn't have to climb the stairs!

What's the big deal my cat has her own room. Since my son moved out, his old room is her room now, and she claimed it herself. When my son lived here, she would go there to sleep with her dad. Her bathroom is our one bathroom we stop using

While there are a variety of reasons why people love to work from home, I'm sure a big one is to be able to hang out with their pets all day. think of your pet as a lover who does not have very long to live.

Our cats owned the hall bathroom too. Whenever friends come to visit and try to use that toilet, we will scream and then make sure they swear they won't wet it
