I am glad to hear the appropriate actions were taken against this individual. I sincerely hope this person, the previous owner, is disallowed future ownership of any animal!

And you know it takes more than a few days for an animal to become so ill- so someone was doing this over time, knowing that she and others were suffering- and NEVER even thought of giving them up to get help.

Starving horse (white one) eating leaves from a tree while in a starvation state, that's asking for big problems. Apparently this rescue didn't do that regularly because the horse was rehabilitated, but I'm surprised it happened at all.
