When I was young I asked my parents to buy me Disney princesses story books and I had this original stories not the one we used to watch on tv but the sleeping beauty one i didn't have the original it was the Disney version and i am happy that the sleeping beauty original story almost most of the population don't know after all it's inappropriate and even my mother who knows all the original tales but dosen't knows the original version of sleeping beauty

But in the original Rapunzel's story Rapunzel's parents were actually poor and took a few vegetable leaves from the witch's garden and when the witch Rapunzel's father she told him to give her the child Rapunzel's parents would which was Rapunzel but yeah she grew up knowing the whitch was her actual mother. Surprisingly, I was read this version of the Disney tales when I was little because, in all Chinese books, this is the version they write in so this is the version I was told for all the fairytales.
