No, Cass's mom is actually mother Gothel. In fact she does not have a father accept the captain. And she didn't give her away, she abandoned Cass. And Varian has his own mom. But im shipping Cassandrian & shipping them as siblings too, both. But im still listening to your theories. ( Oh im giving theories now )

if the second theory were to be true varian would be the son of gothel as we know casandra is gothel's daughter and that is not true as we know that after casandra gothel took repunzel and then she met her demise so she had no time to give birth to varian or marry his dad so that theory is no longer true.

I've seen season 3 and I for sure know that symbol in the helmet. It's the symbol of the brotherhood and Quirin is a member. The brotherhood belongs to Dark Kingdom, not Corona. And there is no connection between these two kingdoms except that the prince and the princess of the two kingdoms are in love.

For the theory about Cass and varian being siblings: Maybe what happend was mother gothel had 2 kids. Varien and Cassandra. Gothel was married to Kiren. When varien was still very young kiren and gothel got divorced. Kiren took varien and gothel to cassaundra.

First of all Cassandra's mother is Gothel the one who kidnapped Rapunzel and Varian has just her parents and Cassandra and Varian will make a very good couple so that's way more interesting than being brothers and sisters
