Since Princess Dianas rise into the spotlight in the 1980s, countless films, Television series, and even stage productions have been produced dictating the events of her short and tragic yet beautiful life. Theres a reason she became the Peoples Princess. Whether you loved her for her kindness, compassion, or her ability to seem like a normal person and not a privileged royal her personality shined and still shines across the globe. Thats why portraying her in the media as an actress isnt an easy feat. Plenty of actresses have stepped into her shoes emotionally and physically transforming themselves by reading biographies and being fitted in to clothing replicas. However, their methods have all been different some very successful and others not entirely meeting that Royal standard. There have even been actresses related to the Royal family who have given it a go. While this role is many actresses dream, it hasnt stopped plenty of them from admitting how absolutely intimidating and terrifying it is to take on Princess Diana. From productions like The Crown and Spencer and actresses like Kristen Stewart and Elizabeth Debicki challenges in the emotional preparation and physical transformation arent lacking. However, ultimately facing these challenges produced content that was not only uncanny in how similar someone is able to be to Princess Diana but content that has done the late Princess justice.
