Who doesnt love a good creepy animated film? Well, there are plenty of famous actors and actresses who have taken on these spooktacular roles. From from teen idols such as Selena Gomez and Zac EFron as Mavis and Fred in Hotel Transylvania and Scoob; Alist stars making a splash in animated form such as Charlize Theron as Morticia in The Addams Family as well as Johnny Depp as Victor in Corpse Bride; or Alist comedians bringing the laughs to animation such as Adam Sandler as Dracula in Hotel Transylvania and Billy Crystal as Mike Wasowski in Monsters University. These slightly scary animated movies gave these stars the chance to try out something new in their career and even experiment with different types of roles that they may never have been able to play in a live action movie. Theres also been times where a voice role in an animated film has jumpstarted the career of previously unknown actors, such was the case with Anthony Gonzalez when he was cast as the voice of Miguel, the starring role in Pixars Oscar winning hit Coco. Theres also been times where the ultimate dream casting comes true, just in other ways than fans might expect such as when Oscar Isaac was selected to voice Gomez Addams in the 2019 animated reboot of The Addams Family. Several actors such as Reese Witherspoon and Anna Kendrick even made their animated debuts in these spooky animated films! These are the performers that were able to bring the scary to these horror tinged animated flicks

All of these movies are masterpieces, I especially love Tim Burton he will always be one of my favourites alongside Danny Elfman, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Catherine Ohara, Adam Sandler, Jaime Camil, Dakota Fanning and a few others. All of the movies mentioned are gorgeous, from animation to the overall feel of the movies.

Fun fact: Catherine OHara was also Delia Deetz in Beetlejuice! Another Tim Burton classic!
I love that you can list people who have been in multiple Burton movies but still have the same select 7 or 8

I love Coco and one day at school we did these things in art called sugar skulls and the teacher asked if we had watched Coco and literally everybody put up their hands
