Top 10 Reasons Why Ant-Man Is Important For The Next Avengers Movie Ever since Avengers Infinity War was released, fans have been dying to know how the next installment in the MCU would pan out - Ant-Man and the Wasp. The first film was a great heist meets superhero movie, but many people are now scratching their heads as to how it will manage to follow up that big ol Thanos snap. But Ant-Man will be playing a very crucial role in his own film that will definitely ripple out to the Avengers 4 film, set to come out next year after Captain Marvel-s solo title. It-s not just the character whose importance to the MCU, but also the world surrounding him - a very scientific world thanks to the brains of Hank Pym that will be making some major splashes in Avengers 4 if the fan theories are correct. Execs and creatives at Marvel have already confirmed that some of the important plot points that will go down in the character-s sequel film, Ant-Man, and the Wasp, will be essential for shaping the MCU-s future and that it opens up a whole world of possibilities for all of their characters. So, needless to say, while Ant-Man and the Wasp will be alleviating some of the trauma we experienced from Thanos in Avengers Infinity War, it will also be crucial in setting the stakes for much of what will go down over the next several years in that story universe. So today, we-re diving deeper into the whys and hows with our list of the top 10 reasons why Ant-Man is important for the next Avengers Movie. More Top 10 Nerd Videos

I can't think of a way for Marvel to -fix- the results of the Thanos Snappening that wouldn't come across as, -well, that was convenient- (rolls eyes.
IMO, this eye roll would be overlooked if the -fix- to Thanos's snap is equally as tragic. In other words, -doctor, doctor, your cure is worse then my disease. -
Here's my thought: Captain Marvel rescues Stark, Nebula and they put heads together with the survivors back on Earth. They fight off an opportunistic invasion by some minor alien menace, but that's just filler as the heroes scour the Earth for anything they might be able to use to reverse Thanos's snap (as Stark advocates) or to move on in the aftermath of Thanos's snap (as Captain Marvel advocates. Someone stumbles across (SPOILER WARNING) the seemingly abandoned quantum tunnel on that parking deck and they either bring Ant Man back, or go in to meet him and give him some assignment.
Now that they have access to a realm where time and space don't really exist, Ant Man does some sort of timey-wimey business that leads to the heroes defeating Thanos. But messing with time in this way causes spatial anomalies and reality paradoxes that splinter the universe. into a multiverse. But -the bill always comes due- for such shenanigans, and the heroes who've survived to that point must try as best they can to sort out which fractured elements of the multiverse get put back together and which are lost.
Some heroes will come back, some won't, and all will be changed in fundamental ways. Some changes will be tragic. maybe Ant Man's daughter disappears because in the universe that wins out, her mother never existed. Other changes will be funny. maybe three Eiffel Towers accidentally made the cut, so now Paris has three of them. Some changes will be for the better. maybe Stark and Pepper finally get together for real, while other changes will be much worse. where Krakatoa waited an additional 136 years to explode.

Spoiler! At the and they will FINALLY encounter the cosmic entities like The Eternals, Lord Chaos and Master Order, Eternity, The living Tribunal etc. All this will start a series of MCU movies leading up to the next BIG arch and butt kicking for the Avengers in SECRET WARS. The Beyonder will be the next HUGE foe that will TOAST the MCU heroes just like Thanos did. In between there will be smaller MCU villians that will appear and be defeated. The Fantastic 4 will already have had their new movie by this point. along with Doom! This is like 2 years down the road. they will announce the upcoming MCU movies schedule and 2 or TRILOGY Secret Wars arc at Comic con 2019 or 2020

I just saw Ant-man and the wasp & questions. so if time and space are irrelevant in quantum realm, why did Janet age the same amount as Hank? At least she appears to have aged about the amount of years she was in there. What are her powers now and how come she didn-t go a little loopy being alone in there for 30 yrs? Can Ghost still phase at all or have other powers now? And how the hell will save Scott? More questions than answers.

I've got something for fans to think about. What if Janet wasn't stuck in the quantum realm for the past three decades? Yes, she shows age, but what if she merely used the realm as a means of space travel? I think fans should be asking this question, because if this is the case, theoretically, she could show up in Avengers 4 along side Nick Fury, Agent Colson and Captain Marvel.

Wait can you do a video on my -lovers- because if you read the comics you will notice that I basically have NO
-love interests-. Which is pretty weird because the outlaws (Artemis or Star not sure if they were in a relation ship although they (star and me) have shared a kiss before. Am I right or am I right?

I-m surprised that Janet seemed well adjusted after being in isolation for 30 years. You-d think she-d be batshit insane after being discovered and finally freed, but apparently she-s so superhuman she treats being stranded like it-s a short vacation

if dp2 really -fixed- things, who realizes that he killed his own actor/self before he portrayed current DP thus now prevents himself from existing as his current form(Ryan Reynolds' body)

I think we're all underestimating Groot. He's the most powerful character in the Avengers movies. He can manipulate everything in Thanos' farm

I like Ant-Man, Professor Hulk, Groot, and Marvel in the next installment of the Avengers. and lets not forget Adam Warlock and Gamora's role.

We never saw what came of that Hydra agent who stole that Yellowjacket serum towards the end of the first Ant-Man movie
