Now, THIS is my kind of list! From Tuscom Train from _Western Stars_ to Death To My Hometown from _Wrecking Ball_ to Jungleland from _Born To Run_ to Hungry Heart from _The River, _ Springsteen is a living legend! I don t agree with his politics, but he s one of the best musicians ever. The best part of Jungleland is Clarence Clemons timeless tenor saxophone solo, a moving E-Flat Major part of a mostly C Major song. Bruce does a bit of it in the former key, but that solo makes me think of releasing all my frustrations to a close friend over Mountain Dew at sunset.

when I was a student nurse in my mental health rotation a client allowed us to sit in on a counseling session. He was sad and depressed because he couldn t find a job in his field. The therapist told him that no one feels better about themselves sitting around doing nothing. Get a job available until something better comes along. They helped him get a job running the train at the local amusement park. Then he was sad and depressed because all it ever did was rain. Just like the rider on the downbound train

Ive been lucky enough to have heard each of these live at one point or another. Either at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park or when he rehearsed for his Tunnel of Love tour in 1988 and had the chance to sit in a number of times and help load out before they left to start the tour in the summer of '88.

There's a British film called Blinded by the Light, about a Pakistani teenager in 80's Luton who becomes inspired by Springsteen's music, and tries to fulfil his dream of being a writer. Just goes to show how timeless the Boss' songs are, in that so many people can relate to them.

I was 17 years old in 1984 and I had to bribe my brother to go to Melbourne Victoria Australia to see my very first concert. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. Will always have special memories as my brother is no longer with us dying from cancer 5 years ago.

I like a lot great tunes by the Boss, but The River is one my favourites songs of his. And there few more are really great, plus he one very cool dude on the guitar. who can belt songs on his pipes, that people like me can relate too.

I'm not all that familiar with his music but I didn't realise how much songs like Rosalita in particular sounds like a Van Morrison song. I can see that tune tucked in on Astral Weeks somewhere. Very Van the Man.

Glory Days, Dancing in the Dark, and Born in the U. S. A. are the only ones I've heard on this list. The rest of the songs sound great. Bruce Springsteen is a wonderful artist.

My dearly departed Mother adored Bruce, and always used to sing me his songs as lullabies, of sorts. She had the best taste in music, her favourite track being Hungry Heart.

Excellent music list for the new year, Bruce Springsteen a true Working class hero. Born to Run remains Iconic. As a lover of the glockenspiel it pulls at my heartstrings

When Bruce Springsteen sings racing in the street I want to cry. When emmylou Harris sings it I want to curl up in a fetal position and never come out

Great list. The list seems to have been compiled by an actual fan, and not someone just going through his greatest hits. Bravo.
