One spontaneous decision and we were on a boat sailing through Indonesia. We met some incredible people, heard some touching stories, and discovered some deserted islands near and around Gili Asahan Lombok It was a pretty incredible couple of days especially after coming back from the hospital in Lombok. How amazing would a yoga retreat be on this boat? ;) Get in touch with Damian and Jem if you'd like to charter or stay on Mikumba II: damos8yahoo. com

Wow I can so relate to your struggles I lived in downtown Toronto for 10 years and had the same kind of friends. We had a really great time for a period in my life when I needed to just have fun and be less serious, but as soon as I decided it was time to focus my life and get healthier in mind, body and spirit, I slowed way down on the partying and drinking and slowly the friends stopped calling. I left Toronto and that life behind me 10 years ago now when I met my soulmate and husband. I moved to Brantford and helped him raise his boys to become wonderful young men, but now we're both feeling it's time to move on. We've built a very different life over the past 10 years as urban permaculturalists, raising food on every square inch of our property, some we give away to whoever needs it, the rest we keep for ourselves. But we still feel tied to the rat race, working too many hours to keep the roof over our heads. Once our youngest son graduates from high school next year we're pulling up stakes and living in a tiny house on a small piece of property to downsize our lives enough to take the winters off to travel and just be As much as I love certain aspects of my job as a nutritionist/Pilates/Yoga instructor/Personal Trainer, sometimes it becomes too much about the business of health and wellness and not enough about just helping people be well, which was the whole reason I got into this in the first place My goal and my husband's over the next year is to get where you guys are spiritually, to shrug off the ties of capitalism and be free. Thanks for sharing all the personal videos you do, it helps to keep us focused. And maybe one day we'll bump into each other on our travels xoxo

You both inspire me to work towards my life goals and dreams. I think one of the problems we face in life is that we always think we have more time. We forget that life can pass quickly and it's unpredictable how long we have to experience the things that we want to. I tend to say One day I'd love to travel to Bali or even something more life-changing like train to be a yoga teacher so that I can use my spiritual beliefs/practice alongside my current work as a Psychologist. But then I get caught up in every day work stress and I end up spending my money on pointless things to temporarily make me happy. These material things don't help me to reach my goals and dreams in the long term. Watching your videos and hearing about what you have sacrificed to make your dreams a reality is helping me on my journey towards actualising my dreams. Today I'm starting a bullet journal and a budget sheet so that I can really start working towards my goals. Thank you so much

Thank you so much for all the videos that you're posting. I've been watching your workouts for a while now and thanks to you I'm much fitter than I used to be. To be fair, I used to struggle to do any workout at all and now I love starting my mornings with you But recently I have had some massive changes to my personal life, searching for what's right for me and making some difficult decisions, and it's been so helpful to watch your diary videos and hear about the brave decisions that you have made and the amazing lifestyle that you have chosen. It's not easy to stand up to people's judgement and to choose the path that stands against certain expectations that society puts on us. You guys are my heroes right now, you've given me hope and strength to go on and be my own person. The world needs more people like you

My heart literally opens watching your guys videos. Thank you for ALL you do, brining so much awareness to our planet and helping expand our consciousness. I have been on an inner journey for some time now and Since watching you guys I have been reevaluating my life even more deeply. I have some serious courage to summon to make the changes I need to live my Authentic life, that whisper from my heart that I have been denying for too long because in comparison to society it seemed unrealistic and almost selfish. Now I see that that was just the life that I was meant to live regardless of how little understanding g I received from those around me. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. It really is true, we truly are all connected and the decisions we make of choices we make effect us all. Xxx

I too have noticed that friends have sort of fallen away from me now that I don't want to go out and drink every night or weekend. I would rather stay home, work on myself, engage in hobbies that I enjoy, and spend time with my family (my partner and our 2 dogs. Sure I'll have a glass of wine here and there, but going to a bar and spending 15+ on alcohol for the sole purpose of getting hammered just to have a good time is not for me anymore. And it's sad that I've had people stop hanging out with me because of it, as if that's the only thing we can have in common. Bit of a bummer, but I wouldn't change myself and my desires for it. You guys give me such inspiration to keep being myself and wanting the things I want out of life Thank you

I can really relate to that idea of people always being obsessed with what it is that you do e. g. for a living. It always seems to be the first question people ask. I have been going through a lot of changes in my life and the career path that was no longer is and how my life once was no longer is. I guess i am in a state of flux and it is scary at times but it is great that I can admit what I don't want to do now and what I don't want my life to be like. We spend so much of our life trying to live up to certain ideals and norms that sometimes we don't even realise they are not what we want but just what others think we should want. Thank you for sharing your journey and your videos they are a real marvel.

Thank you for all of your videos They are all so inspiring and always strike a chord within me. I recently gave up alcohol and it was a scary decision. My entire social life in adolescence and much of my adulthood has been based on drinking. I have been wanting to give it up for a long time but was too scared of the fallout of losing my friends. As all important things, the guidance to push forward and give it up wouldn't stop and I finally had the courage to do so. So far, so good Please keep the videos coming and keep living your dream Xo Ps I am a fellow Canadian, an east coaster; )

i understand. me and my boyfriend are talking sometimes, we live the same life every week every month. we work come home eat sleep and work again. there must be more to life but you need some money, that is just how it is. We want to do some more, i want to become a yoga teacher. and maybe one day we will emigrate to somewhere we can start a new chapter in our book. also thinking about people rent a house from us so we can do other things. life is more then work eat sleep until we are 70.

This fantasy life that you're living is for singles and couples without kids, once you have family with kids, this definitely not an option because you have to take care of your kids future, let them go to good school and saving up for them. Definitely, this is not a life for everyone, each individual has different circumstances, many singles still have to work their a off to pay for student loans and support their parents.

OMG I don't know where to start. the first thing I wanted to comment is: This boat is perfection or it really strongly evokes the want in me to call it perfection (since I guess we have all realised by now that nothing really can be perfect. Further into the video I began to feel so grateful for the stories you shared. So all in all this video is another masterpice of yoursAnd the shoots you took are lovely hugegrin
