Hairdresser reacts to natural hair bleaching Chanae: second video I've watched with you mentioning coconut oil and bleaching hair. I don't think she's using the coconut oil to protect the hair from the bleach, I think she's using it to detangle her hair gently. Her texture requires more manipulation and a liquid makes that easier. Water, or water based liquids wouldn't work considering the bleach is the next step.

I had red hair with color conditioner 5 years ago and then bleached the ends so they were gingery and died the rest brown. 2 days ago i went to add more bleach to the bottom and brought it up higher. it looked like my hair was bleeding and i had blue conditioner on the ends at one point AFTER that so i was really surprised to see the red drips

Natural Hair is not inherently DRY. White people wash their hair to get natural oils off of their hair to avoid the look of 'greasiness'. Black people wash our hair when we have product build up but our hair loves and accepts oils, creams ect.

Lol no offense to you brad, but you dont know what youre talking about. Melanin king and queens such as myself are different from what you are familiar with. You shouldnt comment on our hair at all. We dont do the same things that you would do.

Oh no no no no no no she didn't if you have hair my color dark blonde to light brown yes and you have to do very little you should only lighten your hair like a shade or two lighter than your natural color to start out with chemicals or bad

Natural hair isn't dry. It just has a tendency to get dry if not taken care of. Interesting how you get passionate about describing a hair type you don't have any experience working with. that being said, thanks for the GREAT BLEACHING FACTS!

Dry hair? Our hair isnt naturally dryour hair is more defined and needs to be taken care of more. Our crowns are not of your concern. So in that sense, you shouldnt comment on things that you know nothing about. Again no offense.

More natural hair videos please! Also silly question- can you bleach hair that was prelightened with ammonia? My hair is more brassy/ orange than I want but I dont want to fry it off if I try to lighten it again.

Im so glad I watched this because it has definitely helped me to realize that I will be going to a professional to get my hair done instead of doing it myself. Ive got too much going in on my hair.

Is anyone else thinking that the first girl hair is darker than lvl 5 before bleaching? After bleaching it is lvl 8, so according to Brad, that bleaching was lightning her hair only 3 lvl's? :o

Brad honey, natural hair is not dry, it just doesnt feel silky all the time. But feeling silky and being hydrated are not synonymous. Well groomed natural hair can be very hydrated

The best thing about curly hair is how forgiving it is, it can be yellow, orange, uneven, once those curls dry and you have an afro on, it's gonna look good no matter what
