Pro hairdresser tests cheap drugstore conditioner Ree: None of these are black girl friendly. MAYBE OGX but they aren't thick enough & don't have enough moisture. Do those thick, in a jar kind that we use like Olive oil or hair mayonnaise. Those are the brand's names lol. I had so much herbal essence gifted to me by my stepdaughter so I used it, it was ok. I used all 8 bottles b4 I bought what I typically use. It was a MASSIVE difference in how my hair felt & behaved when I went back. The other stuff, my hair always felt super dry & I never felt slip & I don't have very coarse hair but it felt like it with the herbal essence. I just didn't pay it attention until I went back to jar conditioner. Love the leave in tho. But u have to try them. It's a different experience

I hate the propaganda against coconut oil. My sister and mom went to hair school. My sister would tell me too that coconut oil isn't the best oil for your hair. I've fried my hair to hell and back and it's the best oil I've used for my hair other than olive oil. Health care professionals are also taught coconut oil isn't good for your health but it actually is. I blame the education system for all the ignorance about coconut oil. I have to sound like a psycho conspiracy theorist. But legit. Why is a health care professional gonna tell my grandma coconut oil will clog arteries. No. Propaganda. Lol. Coconut oil is almost liquid gold.

Herbal upside to have this purple shampoo and conditioner (they have them now, but before they looked kind of like cream and jam ribbons inside, non mixed kinds look) and it smelt AMAZING. And it made my hair incredibly soft and I would get constant EVERY other day compliments on the smell and lookwhatever the purple ones are now are a downgrade in my opinion. It made me so sad when I couldnt find it again. It was called hydrolicious at the time or something like that. so sad never found a shampoo and conditioner I loved more since and its been over 10 years.

I do hate when Brad reviews hair products like shampoo and such because he doesn't properly process and go over the ingredient list just because it says it had the ingredient doesn't mean its not going to be utilized (because of the place in the list// further down, less utilized. Especially for shampoo, I try and avoid anything like sulfates in my hair stuff because its very rough on the hair. and fragrances are just shudders

I love it when you do video like this. It gives me an ideal what might work for my dried damaged hair
I have used all kinds of products to have my hair soft cheap and expensive ones. Can never seem to find one. Will try the 1st place one. Coconut oil dried my hair out. Hate coconut scent in my hair but I love coconut.

Trust me, DO NOT GET the coconut one. I bought it because i thought that it looks fancy and i wanted to spoil myself, try something new WORST MISTAKE EVER. waste of money. My hair ended up super dry and tangly. It smelled okay like really strong coconut, but that was it. Even panteen is way better than ogx.

Cornsilk extract is obtained from the soft, silky textured stigmas of the Zea mays plant. . Used in creams and lotions, masks, shampoos and conditioners, this extract soothes the skin and hair, promoting a calm energy while conferring exquisite softness for a smooth, sleek, and sensual look and feel

BradMondo, thank you Brad! Because of you doing videos like this I decided to switch my daughters Shampoo and Conditioner to Ogx, way out of our budget but to me her hair needed it, and after just one use her hair is so soft, shiny, silky and tangle free! So again, thank you!

Ok I love you brad mondo but the comments about water(aqua) They must love the water being the first ingredient dont make sense because a lot of name brands such as, Olaplex, joico and matrix their first ingredient on the shampoos AND conditioners is water.

I tried shopping for conditioner today and I dont understand this craze like HALF of all the bottles had coconuts on the packaging
Also horror story I used to use coconut oil as a hair mask. Yes straight outta the jar and onto my head. Like mayonnaise.

I've been using the pink herbal essences for years. It smells so good, like roses and it's pretty good for damaged hair, but it can get kinda greasy so go easy. I just bought the XMONDO recalibrate bundle though and I'm so excited to give it a try on wash day!

I use the big bottles of ogx coconut milk shampoo and conditioner then the coconut oil spray in the summer and the coconut miracle oil in winter. The scent lasts on my hair for 3 days everyone says my hair is sooo shiny and smells soooo good.

I've used everything from Suave to Pureology and OGX is hands down the best for me and saved my hair. I don't have curly-curly hair (just wavy) but the added moisture from the Quenching Coconut Curls OGX has been life changing.

5. 29 is cheap. Yall think that's expensive because you need better money management lol. You need one bottle for 2 months if you use it sparingly. I don't get the living in a bubble thing because they're actually affordable.
