Hairdresser reacts to people bleaching their hair 4 TIMES IN A ROW
video description
backstory
I m asian and i have a natural 2b-2c hair and it has thick strands, a lot of hair and crazy volume plus a natural very dark raven hair colour which i know that it will be almost impossible to get it lightened to number 9-10, i was young and naive because knowing that i have thicker strand i decided to bleach my hair for 7 days straight with Gatsby EX-HI Bleach
Edit:
A week went by and i bleached my hair one more time just to lightened the yellow hair and i use the same product to bleach for the whole night! And u guessed it. it did lightened to a lighter yellow but my hair got super weak that it took me atleast 4-5 hours to completely dry and once it is dry it has this extra volume and my hair was very short almost like brad s so it looked like a mushroom instead so i finally gave up

Brad's face after the 1st girl's reveal. LOL! She looks stunning with that strawberry blond!
I'm getting my hair done soon & can't decide if I should do dark red (like a burgundy, go back to blonde (it's been 10+ years, or add some blonde & copper highlights? My boss is treating me & I can do whatever I want with it! Input welcome, details below.
My current hair is natural: brown, level 5, except for some purple in the ends from a metallic purple demi-permanent Splat 2 years ago that's apparently permanent.
My hair is straight, fine, and long. I'd like to cut it to a cpl inches below the collarbone.
(I don't like too short bc I have a prominent nose, oval face & strong bone structure.
I'm in my mid 30's and my style is mostly casual w/ a rocker vibe. When I dress up, I like a classier look. I wear a lot of black & for makeup I wear the clean girl look w/ black winged eyeliner. I have light skin with yellow undertones & Hazel eyes & do want a big change. Opinions? T. I. A!

So I wanted to go from red to light brown with blonde highlights and I know that this is almost impossible so I paid over 200 and spent 4 hours with my ass in a salon chair just for my hair to be strawberry blonde but it was still really pretty so it ended up okay. and that only took two rounds of bleach.
Edit- I naturally have really dark brown hair and hazel eyes I am super super pale white though but I cannot pay somebody to get my hair blonde (no matter how hard I try! The lightest I've ever gone is that strawberry blonde color from the salon

My main advice to people doing their own hair at home is read the instruction and have patience. It s not going to happen the first time. Be prepared to have your hair looking ridiculous for a week or two if you truly care about the integrity of your hair. You re not a professional. Professionals go to other professionals. Lol so relax and buckle in for the long ride.

I can't with this baking soda method anymore. Stop. Please. Malibu ddl will take out that color and then you can bleach it again after. 10 developer on the Malibu and 20 for the bleach after. Like, a bleach bath would work better too but that baking soda method only works bc of the developer. It's not the baking soda, its not the soap. Just stop.

I don t believe the first girl did that herself. Not when she takes off the towel and her hair is dry and perfectly styled. Also, it wasn t working last time she actually showed what she was doing. Girl, if you fail just say so, admit defeat and stop inviting others to try things that will only damage their hair.

Gray/white roots create the same problem as blond roots. The hair framing my face and on my crown is mostly white, and I am not ready to go gray yet, so I look like I have bald patches when root touchup time comes around. I look horrid with light hair, so I am stuck with the maintenance.

are we just programmed to hate our own hair while others envy it? if its long, you want it short, if its straight you want it curly, if youre brown you want it blonde. and everyone who wants your hair will tell you youre ruining it but you want THEIR hair. why cant we trade? :(

To have Brad talk about much of a pain it is to keep up dyed blonde hair made me feel seen. Someone in my family even asked if I was sick bc she thought I had a bald spot while it was just light blonde hair growing out. I love dyed hair but damn it looks ugly if its growing out

First video- Looked good in the end. Scalp area just a bit too light. But considering, great results
Second- I use to cringe when when someone with really dark hair wanted blonde highlights. She ended up with good results though. Brad, you are awesome

Seeing the ramen noodle hair always makes me feel on the edge. I have learned from my mistake. which is to bleach my own hair. I burned my hair off, but when I cut it all off and got it professionally done its still healthy and on my head.
