People have to remember that anything at that price point is literally aimed for a rich demographic and that those people who buy these regularly are a bunch of pretentious snobs. Lol. All 22 of those people are giving 5 star reviews that sound like poetry coz they think in their heads that it's SO good coz they paid so much for it, and they're better than anything any average person can afford. It's literally all in their heads lol. The brand is essentially a scam lol. You get what you pay for, and the more you pay the higher quality. usually. After a certain price point it's just a scam lol

Wait wait wait. citric acid puts a protective coating on the hair? I add citric acid and yes dish soap to my shampoo to clean my excessively greasy hair. Dish soap alone doesn't cut it, citric acid alone doesn't either. But you're saying it coats the hair? Weird. Don't come at me for the dish soap. Before I added it I would shampoo and rinse 5 times in the shower and still have 4 inches of greasy roots. And this was with showering every other day, not every 14 days, which is how my hair looked!

1st off. I never read the reviews directly from their site. most of them (if not all) are from their employees. I mean who writes reviews like those written? And yes. they have the option to hude their bad reviews as well. I would just look for other reviews or videos online who actually tried the product. but for this price. im sure they guarantee their products. if it sucks. just return it for a refund! With that being said. always make sure they offer returns/refunds. if they dont. red flag.

Fellow hairstylist here- best mask I've ever found in every aspect is the Wella Fusionplex mask. Hidden gem. It repaired better than both olaplex and k18. Hydrated and softens better than joico intense hydrator. The effect on the hair lasts thru a few washes also. Truly is the only thing I've found to recover, repair and give silky smooth feel and shine to very damaged hair. Try it, you'll love it. Plus the scent isn't gross and overpowering too and I'm very sensitive to perfumes.

As someone who loves hair masks I identify with Brad a lot here. Sometimes the product promises a lot and it gives you nothing. But one of the things I learned is that any hair mask, expensive or cheap, usually takes several uses to give you any results in the long run, which means to make your hair indeed healthier and shinier you'd have to use the mask a couple more times. Still, 225 bucks is a lot of money if you think about a longer period of time using it.

As a chemist who make product. Most of the money your paying for with that item is definitely in the packaging! Red flag #1.
Second red flag - I looked at the ingredient listing. They used a lot of cheaper raw material which is a big turn off to me.
But a plus - All those peptides and actives Brad listed are pretty pricey (and fantastic for hair, but it depends how much they added.
I wouldn't buy the full jar myself without trying a free sample.

Not a hairdresser, but avid haircare user here. I highly recommend the masks from Davines. They're a salon brand from Italy, very sustainable and eco-friendly. I don't work for them or anything. They just use these products at the hair salon I go to - Pure Salon in Montreal - and they are absolute fire. They are still somewhat expensive products, but nowhere near Philip B expensive. I absolutely love the Davines hair masks. They are BOMB! TRY THEM.

I don't like or give two hoots about the packaging. I prefer unfragranced products, as my scalp is sensitive. It's the colour of diarrhoea. I just don't believe that there's all that much difference between a 30 and a 225 mask. Oleosomes are oils, that's it. There isnt anything special about pea peptides. It's like La Mer - it's a decent but not exceptional moisturiser with a tiny amount of whatever secret, and then marketing.

I was already disappointed by the fact that they used mica to get that color. For that price, they could have used something fancy. Dunno, magic golden bubbles that dissolve when they touch your hair & are filled with fancy oil? Imagine a mask with bubble tea vibes Anyways a mask that expensive should look & perform amazingly.

Unless you're supposed to rub this into your scalp I don't get the point of the pea peptides. Rubbing something that's supposed to make your hair grow better just into the length of your hair (which is dead) isn't going to do anything. It seems like a wasted ingredient meant to just add to the cost of the product.

One of the best conditioner I ever used was when I did a modelling stint for a salon and had monofibre hair extensions weaved and wax sealed into nearly every strand of hair on my head. It stooped the extensions frazzling under the heat of a dryer, I have absolutely no idea what it was called but it worked.

Now I would never pay for that but on the not necessarily making hair soft. Redken products are a prime example. Some of their products soften and moisturize. And some leave the hair feeling horrible but tons stronger! So I guess it comes down to does it really work? And how does it make you feel?

This is just Brad s low key way of reminding us how we should be using XMONDO products. I use a combo of Electric Rain, Forcefield Heat Shield, and Viper Smoothing Oil and my hair has never been healthier. His products are worth the hype and are reasonably priced too.
