Hairdresser Reacts To Extreme Tiktok Hair Disasters AndreaO: I feel for the first girl so much It was morning time, I woke up, combed my hair through and tied it in a high bun with pearl beaded scrunchie. I wanted to fix it a bit, so I untied it for a second. Mistake. Of. My. Life. I was late for work (bank, front office, with a scrunchie stuck in my hair. I had no other choice but to cut the hair. Thankfully, my hair is really long and thick, so it wasn't as bad as it could be. next time something similar happened is with a cheap and really, really bad hair drying brush. This time, however, I was patient and had time on my side, so I managed to take it out after almost an hour. I still get chills thinking of how it could've ended up (considering I was brushing the front section/crown.

5: 58 HELP!
Everyone with some hair knowledge what is worst bleaching your hair or relaxing it?
I m so done with my hair I want a change. I m not blessed in the hair department, I have thin, brown ( level 4, curly (type 2C) hair. And I know that both the process are bad for the hair, but what s the less bad?
Is it worst to bleach your hair three times to a dirty blonde (level 8) in an year or relaxing it twice?
(I suppose I will need to bleach my hair only three times because it grows really slowly and relax it twice because my hair is not super curly.
Ps. I have dyed my hair four times in my life (box dye light brown, last time was 8 months ago.

The girl with finger waves is a ballroom dancer! I can see one from a mile, when I used to dance we also had to get our hair literally rock hard and her makeup looks like what we did too you slather the hairspray, sometimes used more than one bottle per hairstyle and also gel, it was crazy. Wasn t fun when you come home and have to get it out of the hair but I don t know why did she unstick the waves, hair is so fragile like this, I usually just start washing it, so the hair softens and the waves will come apart on their own.

Here's a good idea to help hair color NOT stick to your face:
Use either Vaseline OR Chapstick. Vaseline will help give the color something to stick to besides your skin, and will allow the dye to run off. So why the Chapstick? Because Chapstick has Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly in it, which is why it works so well. Believe it or not, you actually want to use the cheap Chapstick (like off brand ones) because it'll have less natural oils and more Vaseline in them.
I hope this helps!

As a kid I cut my bangs nearly to my scalp and the lovely lady that worked at the local hair salon was a miracle worker, she pulled a layer from a little behind my bangs and blended with what remained of my bangs to hide my terrible mistake she kept blending it for me until it was completely grown out and then she just blended the curtain layer into the top layer of my hair

I think the reason people do hair at home, the cost. I got a quote of 270 for a full high light and when I went to pay it was 580 and with tip I was at 715. I didn t want to seem broke so I paid with my cc but it did put me in a very uncomfortable position. It s expensive to continually go to a good hair dresser.

I think it would be fun if you reacted to that video to see if you agree with her! There is definently a lot iNteResTinG things there- and i think you would enjoy it to! Love ur vids xx

As someone who has dyed her hair multiple dark colours, most often permanent black, black hair dye does not do that when rinsing out your hair. I might get some slight blue/grey staining on my ear or around the hair line but that comes off really fast. That's a fake video for TikTok #fake #incorrect

The second girl probably had Bronner Bros. Pump It Up gold styling spritz
That stuff can freeze time!
The guy who did my hair for prom used it. and it took me 5 days to take my prom pin curls and french roll down.
I had to keep my hair submerged in hot ass water, shampoo and olive oil.

At this point I feel like if you end up in a Brad Mondo video, you re trying too hard to fail. After all the advice and tips he s given, here we are with barely there bangs and chunks of hair falling out. That being said, it makes for some amazing content. Love these videos, Brad,

I see SO MANY instas and tiktoks with hairdressers showing bleaching and lightening and they're always sooooooooo fluffy! Are they leaving it in too long? is there ever a reason that the fluffiness is ok? i thought it was just how certain lighteners worked.

My sweet son was brushing my hair and he got a rattail comb stuck in my hair (in the front) and I was like there s no way I m cutting this out. I took all the teeth of the comb. It took for er but there was no way I was cutting it!

what happened to the second girl is rather than taking out most of the excess colour prior to getting in the shower, she panicked and got in the shower when most of the excess colour was still in her hair

Brad, have you ever heard of this horrible glue masquerading as a hair product known as Pump It Up? It is absolutely capable of the finger wave crunch you shared especially if it's combined with gel.

TIPS IF U STAIN SURFACES LIKE SINK ETC WITH SEMI PERMANENT DYE: spray some hairspray on it, it will desolve the color and you can wipe the stain off. now if u get it on your skin like that. tough shit
