I think Kaley mentioned in a previous video that she uses Marianna bobby pins. You can get them in 1lb boxes on amazon. I use them too, those things are ridiculously strong- they're the only pins I've used that can hold my thick/crazy hair in place.

I'm not Kayley but I have that problem too. If you twist the hair, you don't always have to pin the whole section with one. If you pin the bottom layer, the twist makes it so it can't unravel.

for example I make a tiny ponytail using the hair from the crown, and i tighten it more on the low area, so it makes a lil bump (doesn't stay flat at least) and it's already supersecure
