This style was inspired by Kate Middleton and her lady like, but contemporary hair styles. I love the balance of old and new in everything she does I decided to do a side updo, because that's what was the most requested

Hey Kaley, firstly I loved the hairdo very interesting and something new from an updo that I'd never seen. However, I suggest changing the feminine part of the title because it is a degrading adjective against women, from the Gender Studies perspective. Technically, feminine actually comes from a 1871 tuberculosis doctor who invented it to describe the degrading effects of the suffering male body. So I don't believe that would be something this up-do is. Anyway, thank you for the awesome vid

Absolutely love this hair style, but just as a quick comment I'm not sure if it is just my computer but at the end of your videos when you leave a click here for another video section I am never able to click there Like I said I'm not sure if it's just me but I thought I'd drop a comment: )

What's your evolved interpretion of feminine? I don't expect every commenter to be as educated on the topic so I'd like to know your own point of view. Otherwise, I would advise you to read Judith Butler if you want to learn about the actual definition of feminine.

I love all of your hair styles. You make it seem so easy, but I think my hair is just kind of weird (and I never use/have many styling products. Both of you have such beautiful, smooth hair. :)

This is a beautiful updo I love it. I'm in my twenties and my prom was a long time ago, but I will definitely be doing this hairstyle for a special date night or something. it's gorgeous

the result is so neat and not messy, I love it, I guess it's because you're doing it on someone's hair, so you're able to see and control what you're doing, also your sister is so pretty: )

Today I saw a half up-do with a Celtic Knot braid/twist/knot on Pinterest, and I was a little bit confused by the tutorial, but I'd love it for prom if you can figure it out to show us

Hi Kaley, would you be able to do updo's on people with different types of hair to see what it looks like in comparison to yours? E. g. updo for curly, frizzy, etc.
