I hate wasting a head full of nice-looking curls on an updo but the texture really does keep your shorter hairs from sticking out like pdx said below. A solution that works for me is to texturize my hair overnight/during the day (depending on the situation, so like I'll dry my hair in a French braid/sock bun/pin curls, whatever you like that works for your hair. It gives your hair some oomph when you're trying to do an updo but you don't feel like you curled your hair for nothing: )

This video has totally ruined my pre-wedding routine. I used to watch like 50 videos and then try 10 of them, be very annoyed that nothing really worked and then go for some braids going into a bun. Now I don't even search anymore. I just do this, knowing every step without rewatching, and everyone is like Wow, where did you get your hair done? :D

I know a lot of people tell you this but you are absolutely beautiful. I would do almost anything to be just half as pretty as you are. Your sister looks also absolutely stunning. I also adore your tutorials, you are my favorite teacher for hairstyles, because your tutorials are not only helpful, but also fun to watch. :)

I think that this is a very cute style but why, why, why do you take the time to curl the whole head. There has to be a better way to do this without curling the whole head. You pretty much braid every section of the head so how to do this without curling the whole head. Still love all that you do. =)

Hey, I know this is random, but do you know anything about lightening your hair naturally using honey and cinnamon? I've seen some people do it on youtube, and I'm thinking about doing it, but I'm not sure. I'd feel better about it if I knew you would vouch for it: )

i luv it. its amaizing. i was hoping u cud helpme in buying a curling iron. i hav a 1 curling iron. bt it doesn't giv me those loose big waves. so im planning on buying d hot tools 1. 5 or 2 curling iron. i wud really appreciate it if u cud help me.

Curling all of the hair makes the braid look better in the end because it prevents shorter hairs from sticking out straight from the braid. I don't have a curling iron so I skip that step but if you want a perfect-looking braid it's recommended
