I would be careful about going too hard into geographic determinism--pro or anti. Crash Course Geography was actually straight up cancelled, in part because they took a hard stance on geographic determinism and got brigaded for it.
I know you care a lot about consulting experts and presenting consensus, bit geographic determinism is kind of secretly controversial? Different social sciences disciplines have some very different common understandings.

White people did not just simply abduct Black people from Africa. never is it that simple. Large European powers were not involved in the slave trade. Slavery was outlawed in Europe, frowned both ethically andys religiously. It only take place between independent businesses men, and African kings. Who sold other tribes, of black people that they conquered. Its an important distinction to make. And yes I believe slavery is wrong.

I dunno. I'm still confused. So, it's readily available. I got that. It's a home remedy. Ok I got that, too. Really poor people might've started ingesting it to fill their stomachs for a while. Ok, so historical food use as an emergency thing? I got it. I just don't get how that then turns into a snack for modern people in the industrialized world. Still seems like a weird habit that people should break to me.

I live in Warner Robins and fly small planes out of Perry (PXE. While flying over these mines, my instructor noted that they were sand mines for concrete. Is this a misconception or are there also a lot of sand mines down here that aren't mentioned in this video?

That s interesting, here in bandar Abbas we have a really special paste or sauce that has fish bones and dirt in it, it s blood red and it s rich with iron. In the Hormuz island, there is a huge part of the land that is completely filled with this red dirt

3: 35 correction: Europeans didn't abduct anyone. They bought slaves from local sellers. In north africa from Arabs and sub saharan africa from local kingdoms with a story of slavery who saw selling their slaves to them as a pretty good deal.

How about people eat this white dirt because it serves as an anti parasitic. Wild animals have been seen eating this dirt when they're sick.

Could we possibly see a video on composting and other things in the garden? I really liked that mini-series about tomatoes last year.
