I went into Chipotle one night in a bad mood and asked for rice without the soap and they knew exactly that I wanted it sans cilantro and were prepared. They actually set it aside for the soapy tasting herb adverse! I also don't understand how I can love the lemony taste of coriander seeds but hate the plant it grows into so much.

My mom is Hmong and we make larb without the rice. Its basically just finely ground chicken with a lot of the ingredients you put in it. Was so happy to see you making a dish thats a part of hmong culture. Make a Hmong food video!

The coconut sticky rice and mango is literally the taste of my childhood and my favourite food. Not sure why I never thought to make it at home but this video gave me the final push.

Cilantro is pretty much quintessential to Thai cuisine. I don't like cilantro but I can bear it to a certain extent. For me exactly TWO LEAVES are enough and NO STEM!

FYI some part in Thailand they use pickled garlic's juice instead of sugar for much more balance in sweetness and also add a big umami punch in a dish.

Pro tip, smack your lemongrass with the back of your knife before chopping to bruise at making it easier to chop and also helping it not be too cronchy

The meat is much better if you chop it in a food processor instead of buying it ground up. The texture makes a big difference. Try it with chicken.
