Molly Makes a Grilled Chicken Sandwich From the Test Kitchen

This grilled chicken sandwich recipe (thighs only) gets the BA treatment from senior associate food editor Molly Baz. The goal was to dispel any associations you might have with the sandwich: the sort of floppy, slightly rubbery fast food versions with a single, soggy leaf of lettuce. It's inspired by Caesar salad, inspired by mayonnaise, inspired by the idea of special sauce, inspired by grill marks, and the words charred buns

Tip for anyone struggling to pronounce Worcestershire Sauce: here in the UK, its not uncommon for people to shorten the name to Worcester (Woo-ster) sauce for the sake of simplicity. People will still understand what youre talking about, but it saves you from getting tongue-tied

You can say Wooster sauce. There are a few acceptable ways to say it. Ramsey says Wooster (I do too, just without the cooking skill, Oliver says woostershire sauce. I've written them phonetically because you can't hear me say them: ) Love your videos BA, you have a fantastic team.

05: 22 my father refused to use a cut proof glove and had to go to the hospital after he sliced a chip off his thumb. Because they couldn't stitch it, they had to use an coagulant impregnated bandage and a week later he hurts like you can't believe. BE SAFE with v-skicers.

If you're ever in the UK and need to buy some sauce, we pronounce Worcestershire /Woostuh/ i. e. we simplify the first but and drop the 'shire' at the end. except for Gordon Ramsay who, for some reason, feels obliged to say the whole darn word in his videos

Are you saying sammich? Cuz it sounds like you're saying sammich. Not that there's anything wrong w saying simmich. I actually prefer a sammich over a sandwich. Especially when it's a dam tasty-azz chicken sammich like this sammich.

I have a little problem when people leave out main ingredients to get cold while they make other aspects of the dish. Who would let they're buns and chicken get cold before making a the coleslaw?
reply

Beautiful buns on this video, are we spooning on the hanger steak video, I'm getting a ton of innuendo here, not that I mind. That does look frigging amazing I have to say. Will so be making these.

One advantage of living in the country, large covered patio for grilling while snow is on ground and open fire pit for grilling after snow melts. Life is good in Central Oregon Cascades.

Chicken thighs? All that fancy sauce and topping for dark meat? It's good money after bad. Dark meat for a chicken sandwhich? Chick-filet could educate you

Serious question. all the cooking shows are saying how important it is to let the meat rest. but, I don't like eating cold meat. Is there a solution?
