Welcome to Brad's World. Join Brad Leone in the Bon Apptit Test Kitchen as he makes grilled (and stuffed) squid. To avoid getting tough and chewy squid, you should either grill it fast and hot or low and slow. These squid tubes are stuffed with tentacles, shrimp, scallions, garlic, ginger, spices and rice are dry rubbed with mustard powder, onion powder, salt & pepper, cayenne and coriander

Id probably enjoy dat. Although, I do not like calamari. Ive had it high end, low end, hole in the wall, home made, varying price ranges, all over the place, and its all only as good as the breading and dipping sauce, its otherwise flavorless, chewy, old, white, sea bubblegum. Kinda like our pusa.

Y'all are KILLING me with how y'all clean the grill. Don't use wire grill brushes The wires can break off and get into your food and then into your GI tract. Ball up some aluminum foil and hold the ball with a pair of tongs and us that to clean the grill

Can't eat seafood due to allergic to molluscs and crustaceans severely. Anaphylaxis anyone? Especially on my throat and tongue. Those could literally kill me easily. I can eat fish though. Now you know my weakness. Pls don't kill me.

Looks good. But I love the tentacles by themselves, so I would have replaced it with ground pork for the stuffing which marries well with shrimp. Just like a wonton filling, and then I would grill the tentacles

Ok. Brad-shaw- squid-meyer. this was a really cool recipe. that I will def. make. BTW your knife skills are impressive. some of the best in the BA test kitchen. Keep on keeping on. golden retriever. :-)

To be honest, It's Alive is so random, Brad making anything in the test kitchen is basically just It's Alive without the Vincenzo and the editing that makes it so entertaining to watch.

This is just so dry plain without the Vinny banter and editing. Also, I have to know Did he allicify the garlic? How am I supposed to know what allicin is if Brad doesn't explain it

I love every episode with Brad but hate to say. the atmosphere is just kinda flat without the interaction with Vinny and the hilarious comments on screen. : (

Seeing molly grilling her coconut marinated chicken in this episode feels like theyve broken the fourth wall somehow despite the fact that they are real people

I loved this. Please make more squid and octopus recipes from the rest kitchen Its so yummy but pretty intimidating to cook with if youre not used to it.
