Join Sohla El-Waylly in the Bon Apptit Test Kitchen as she makes red lentil zucchini. These crispy, crackly zucchini fritters take inspiration from the traditional Bengali onion snacks piyaju. Soaked and blended red lentils make up the batter, which is spiked with turmeric and chili powder. Tymon: sometimes a wonder how the job interviews go there. like. this is maybe a weird question, but do you guys think that kitchen knives will get replaced by something else at one point in time, or is the knife just a too efficient toll for that? :)

Indeed more Sohla content. Excellent twist on the pyajo or pyajee. Another combination would be to try the same recipe with curry leaves instead of parsley.

Have so enjoyed Sohla as part of the team, great sense of humor, so it's nice to see her on her own. Fritters look great, my wife and kids will love them

This could have been a recipe video for cat food and I would have clicked on it just for the long awaited Sohla content. I don't even have a cat.

I want to watch Sohla zest lemons again and again. one of the prettiest things about watching someone cook is in the practiced, easy movements.

Sohla is the Velma of the test kitchen and I mean that in the best possible way. Big brains, glasses, kinda quiet, and holds everything together
