Court Street Grocers is a fixture of Carroll Gardens. We sent Alex Delany to this Brooklyn sandwicherie (this has to be a word, right) to try one of everything on the menu, and we didn't send him alone. For this episode, he was joined by Christina Chaey as they eat everything they can between two slices of bread. This episode of One of Everything was filmed prior to the Covid-19 crisis. Court Street Grocers, like so many other restaurants around the country, has since temporarily closed. They've launched a shop selling t-shirts and other merchandise, with all proceeds going to their staff

Never before has there been a better advertising model for a restaurant. I so appreciate seeing ever menu item - not in an artificially constructed photo - but the real deal, size, tenderness/firmness of bite. and then the two person breakdown of aroma, flavor, ratio, texture. By the end of the show I know just what I want to order; )

First time watching one of these -- not sure if this has been adressed in a different episode, but what happens to all the food waste? If they ate one fourth cuts of each sandwich (still bite-sized, it would easily reduce waste by half.

Ugh. Dont ever take anything for granted, folks. You literally never know when something so commonplace (going out to eat, being with friends, not going into a panic attack if you accidentally brush past someone) will be taken away.

if and when its possible, alex should do an episode of alex eats it all with nashville hot chicken. i got the idea since ol babby and joshua weissman both did nashville hot chicken videos recently

Do they take the leftovers back to the test kitchen after theyre done? Ive always been curious what happens to all the rest of the food. BA employees dont seem like the types to waste food.

but why? Every time I see these videos they make me ill rather than make the food look appealing. Just cover their best dishes. Covering every dish in the menu makes these videos grotesque.

Love the show, but breaks my heart thinking about how much is thrown away after it. Just hearing the crispy crunchy fresh bread and thinking how it's thrown away in such quantities.

Christina needs her own show, I mean, come on! If after this lockdown lifts (if ever) and they didn't get her one, I'm gonna flip! At least they need to give her more exposure.

8 years ago, the price of these sandwiches would have been ok for me, but now the price of the dollar has increased 40%, so they're ridiculously expensive
