Making marzipan fruits! That's candy fruits made out of almond paste to decorate your holiday cakes and whatnot. In the video I make marzipan apples, oranges, pears, lemons and bananas! mythirdchannel: That side of the grater is used for tomatoes as far as I know if you wanna get them into a puree/paste. Maybe there are other uses for it too, but if you want a quick and relatively smooth fresh tomato puree/sauce it's a way to get that done manually.
Also, I personally dislike Marzipan, and I was wondering if you're gonna make it from scratch because I heard (from a friend who makes it from scratch) that it's worlds better than the store-bought stuff. Shouldn't be very hard, but since I dislike it I won't bother trying XD

How timely. Hey Hilah, FYI Almond paste is used in Dutch Christmas pastries called Banquet (pronounced: bung-KETT.
This is a rod, or a ring, of almond paste baked in flaky pastry crust. My mom always made hers in a rod shape.
The last time I was this early. (you, the viewer, can fill in the blank.

Maybe a chocolate sprinkle could be an edible stem. And yes freshly picked apples are mind blowing. I thought I hated red delicious but really I love them I just hate them after they sit in stores too long.

uuuhh I remember eating a marzipan apple on a wedding when I was under 5 years old. It was painted so beautifully and had a crunchy coating, I was mesmerized at how pretty that was.

I can't stand marzipan and think it's cruel trickery to make such wonderful looking treats made of it. And yet. I love the video and I love the shirt.
