this was cute but something just doesn't seem right to me like I don't have super strong roots with the pa Dutch but the accent in my family always stuck. simply hearing someone who grew up with it call it POT PIE makes me cringe. you can always tell which you are talking about about here because the good stuff is pronounced more like puh-pie (actually watching this video and hearing what the pa Dutch originally call it makes so much sense so thanks on that)also side note: I know cambells was trying to make a like homie family dinner give with this but usually this is eaten by itself. MAYBE with some rolls. and definitely in a bowl because IT'S LIKE A STEW HOW YOU JUST GONNA PUT IT ON A PLATE. like maybe getting multiple sources to make it more authentic. one more side note: riding in a buggie is so touristy. I've lived here my whole life I personally have never even seen any english riding in a buggie in lancaster. mmm.

Hate on this recipe all you want but these are the recipes you never see in a book. Recipes like this are the legacy your grandmother leaves when she passes. I grew up eating this, and just as my family had for hundreds of years and my children will one day. She even said in this video it was not originally called pot pie! My grandmothers recipe even says Bott Bie. It was a dialect of German used by Amish called Pennsylvania Dutch. The name pot pie was just something created in translation.

Great video and very educational. My ONLY problem being it was a commercial/restaurant business was she NEVER wore a hairnet while she was preparing the food (making noodles, stiring the pot, etc. I'm very skeptic about eating a Campbell's product now. If they would sponsor a video having a serious food violation like that with their good name attached to it, I can only image what they do behind closed doors.

As a former chef, these videos kinda frustrate me. Poor Camille just seemed to be getting in the way. As someone that's had moments with 'on camera personalities', you just wanna push them aside and get down to brass tacks about what you're doing and what's going on. Good video though!

Definitely an entertaining video to watch. I know a little more about the region and the history. but i learned absolutely nothing about how to make a it or what it tastes like. Why should I go there and try this? Some more work needs to be done on this series.

hey eater, dont think you have to plaster SPONSORED on the title of every video. just put it at the end of the video. I bet there are a lot of people that dont watch these videos thinking oh its probably just a long advert but these defo are not.

You're chicken pot pie doesn't have a crust? It's made with noodles? What? This is not what pot pie means to me. Please make a video on the genius person who added the crust, thus making it the dish we know and love today.

I maybe fell just a little bit in love with Sofia. or perhaps just with my inner Sofia. the part of me that could give up the life I've known and find contentment in rolling noodles in Pennsylvania.

Thumbs up for Sofia. Nice, amiable and good looking. A classic beaty with a charming personallity. If I had to have daughter as her, I woul be proud!
