if everything is local as he says, i would like to know how an island country of 377, 975 km2 with 73% of its mountainous surface, obtains commodities to satisfy the demand of tens of millions of people

Wow, it means that the majority of the soy sauces in the supermarkets outside Japan are fake taking in count that in needs 6 months of brewing. At least the cheap ones are fake for sure.

The demand for soy sauce in the world is growing as Asian culture gains influence and popularity. I'm sure these guys are increasing their benefits, they deserve it.
