Oh, man, the hipsterism in this is off the scale. Moved to Williamsburg ten years ago (BEFORE the rest of the hipsters got there? Check. Appeal to history and authenticity? Check. Implying you found the restaurant just on your own, because you're just the sort of person who finds cool, hip spots? Check. but despite that, you namecheck a bunch of pop-culture references so as the maximum amount of people know how cool you are (but make sure it's clear you knew the restaurant before the shows found out about them? Check. Brunette with bangs? Check. Pretending you grew up this food to imply some sort of hereditary connection to this authenticity when your last name is in fact German and means a clumsy and oafish person? Check.

This is classic Italian-American cooking inspired by the Southern Italian immigrants that came here primarily from the Campania (Naples) region of Italy and Sicily.

It's nice to see someone else who loves The Americans. I think it's the best show on TV, and I am so excited for the new season airing March 7.
