Pizza = Tacos, burritos, roti, naan, injera, crepes, barbari. they are all the same thing. A base. Have it flat or roll it up. They hold the food together. Tacos have got super popular with other cuisines. Vegan tacos, asian tacos, kabob tacos. put whatever you want in a taco. Pizza's is the same. You can put anything on it. Bread is universal around the world. Flat breads too. Why limit it to pizza (tomato) sauce or pesto?

I miss San Francisco. Lived there for 11 years. Had Zante's a few times and their Indian pizza is truly delicious. Even though it's been years since I had it, I had a dream about eating it just last night. That's how good it is! It's a shame that this is the only place in the world I've ever even heard of Indian Pizza.

By the way if anyone's watching this and wondering, no, this is not available in India. Because obviously the idea came up to a guy living in America. Also, Dominos and Pizza Hut in India makes pizza taste like jail food. So this is something Indians in India are missing. Unless he plans to open a branch in India.

Lucas is a fantastic host of the show. He is fairly well-versed in south asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, SriLankan, Nepali) cuisine to be able to draw upon former experiences and see how different foods blend. .

Actually pizza concept originally from India not italy. Only difference ia they use euro herbs in sauce and a mozzarella cheese. But indians also invented mozzarella. Khoya is like mozzarella

Theres an Indian pizza place near where I live called canam pizza and their pizzas are so good. Their Butter chicken pizza is my favorite. To enjoy it you have to accept it for what it is tho

Just call it indian bread then why call it pizza? Indians have a habit of making everything indian and ruining it, pizza, pasta, dumplings and extending to cities and countries too

Pizza Hut and Domino's DO use Indian spices and meat kebabs in their pizzas, in India. You go to any American fast food outlet and you will have an indian version of the food.
