Sheldon is a great host! He knows how to set up questions to let the business owners share and drop their vast knowledge. Thats what being a host is about, to let the audience learn more new and interesting stuff from different voices every episode. Meanwhile Nick (meat show) is just sharing his own knowledge over and over again while barely extracting interesting stories/knowledge from all these business owners that have so much experiences.

does anyone know how to make the garlic butter sauce for the noodles? Or the spicy boil sauce. I'm trying to replicate that same sauce from L. A Crawfish's Awesome Garlic Noodles. Those noodles are the Fkn BOMB! The spiciness and garlic mixed with the crispy shallots, fried jalapenos, steamed sausage, sticky phu that adsorbs the sauce, and fried oninons. oh man. If I knew how to make that sauce I would eat it everyday!

Yeah. I get what he's trying to say, but Houston is just not as diverse as NYC. They host the UN. Also, can we quit it with the southern hospitality talk? Its as silly as calling the Dallas Cowboys America's Team. There are nice people most places around the country.

Get out there. Buy food from small grocery stores. You will open up your life and your heart. Go to any restaurants that are not what you normally eat. It's a restaurant. 90 percent of the time you'll have a wonderful meal and experience.

Food looks awesome. Sheldon is great, as well as the host. Would love to try this place, but the way they killed the crab seems a bid cruel. Has to be a more humane way to do it, other than ripping it apart live.

I hope all these great restaurants will be able to continue their work. Harvey was fierce and did a number on Houston and surrounding areas. God bless the people of Houston! May the good times be good again.

This was quite sweet. I like how this host let the cook talk about a bit of the history of Vietnamese immigration, as well as food culture in Vietnam. Let's see some more of this guy in the future!
