It is just a Giant Eggs Benedict, as he says at the end, not a pizza. While it sounds delicious, if your going to call it a pizza: ) I think it would be great served on a great (fresh) pizza dough base. If you stretch not toss fresh dough to about half the size you would toss it out too. Then lightly oil the top, poke it down in a few places with your fingers so it doesn't become a balloon. Now when you toss it in your pizza oven/oven you get a great air pocket filled base similar'ish to the inside of the muffin but pizza based.

We all have opinions on how hard one should try to maintain health, but browning the muffin that much produces lots of acrylamide which is dangerous. Also use less yolks and whole wheat but then in aint comfort food is it?

I was about to say this was a pointless recipe, but you had me at the high side pan and ring mold talk, absolutely genius. A time savor and pizza like corners to present your final dish.
